Brodum is a lovely town locals are friendly and love the patter they give the kids food and drink very good with some very good bars on the front try the first stop staff they where brill.
Brodum is very clean and easy to get around would definitely go back to resort but not the hotel

Bodrum and Gumbet are both well maintained resorts very clean '
Entertainment was good with a good choice of restaurants and bars, special mentions to the red dragon in Gumbet and brunches in Bodrum.
Beaches were nice and clean I loved visiting Turkey people there are very friendly and trusting I will certainly visit again.

Bodrum is fab, very cosmopolitan. Regarless of what you want to do you will find it here.
There is no beach to speak of in Bodrum but Gumbet is only a couple of Km's away and is often referred to as Bodrums Beach. You can take a dolmus to Torba for a good bit of laid back Beach life.
he water park on the road to Turgetrise is well worth a visit as is the market in Turgetrise itself.
The Bodrum peninsula is superb whether you are looking for a good package holiday or something with a bit more culture.

The walk along the beach on your first day will be very daunting if you are as un-sunbathed as we were.
Obviously newly off the plane we were plagued by the guys standing outside restuarants to come and eat inside, it was only 9am on the first morning. Once you get a bit savvy though, you can fend them off.
The resort is small but everything is within walking distance.
We didn't find the entertainemnt at night very good, we had to go into Bodrum to get a nightclub, I don't actually think there is nightclub in Bitez ! Am I wrong !
We actually didn't sunbathe at all on the beach during our 2 week, you could only sit in certain parts if you bought a drink from the bar behind that owned that part. We found that dissapointing so we sunbathed at the hotel.
Having said all that we are returning for a week this May 2005, so much we didn't get to see even with 2 weeks last year !

Bodrum,what can we say,Halakarnis open air night club,all ages will love this place,the disco boat in the harbour is also popular. Great fun but without the lager louts,loas of very good restaurants/cafe bars all with helpful and very friendly staff,just don't promise to go in if you have no intention of doing so,they remind you every time you pass !!
The shops can be daunting,but just a friendly no thanks or even an hello will get you off the hook.

Bodrum is great and the turks always make you feel welcome even if a lot of it maybe to get your money we found gumbet cheaper to eat drink and buy fakies from but loved bodrum none the less.

nightlife is absolutley excellent, i was out for a week straight, every night untill 8 o'clock in the morning. people are wonderful, and amazingly friendly. markets are good. turkish food great, especially the kebabs, they're mouth watering. sea is lovely. extremley clean. scenery divine absolutley beautiful. wonderful place, id love to move out there one day.

Bodrum was a very romantic place at night, especially along the bars on the beach. It was buzzing with plenty of people and excitement. Shopping was good as well - plenty of bargains.
The weather was beautiful - not a cloud in the sky for the 14 days.

Bodrum is a lovely place to visiy , There are lots of shops any kinds( you name it you can find it) Cheap, cheap , cheap!!!( but good quality). People are very friendly and helpful. You can find nice places for entertainment(Bars, night clubs, restaurants). We are definetely going back again. Extremely clean environment, the weather, the food and the people are absolutely adorable.
