I have just returned from this fantastic resport on Friday 9th June. All I can say is wow - what a beautiful place! This was my first visit to Turkey although my travel companions have been a few times - we are all new to this part of the country.

The resort was just beautiful, the landscape was unreal. The resort has been cleverly built into the hills and is laid out really well. This of course also meant some steep climbes to the rooms - but after the delights in the restaurant the walks were a welcome form of exercise to burn off those additional calories from the delicious puddings available.

The weather was amazing with the temperatures never falling below 36 during the day and around 20 in the evenings. I do recommend though that you get out of the sun between 12 and 3pm although it is very hot between 3 - 6pm.

The Thomas Cook reps were spot on - always someone around to talk to and ask questions - very helpful and great with the children too. I couldn't fault this resort and I do believe its rating should be 5 star and not 4 star. There was one disappointment though - the English holidaymakers that were there - they were very rude and noisy with no regard to the other people trying to have a nice holiday - I was embarrassed to be from the UK watching their behaviour.

The beach was private and very clean and well laid out - we found it too hot to stay all day as the little parasols didn't provide a lot of shelter. The water was very clear and you could go quite far out as the water was quite shallow which is perfect if you have small children who just want to paddle or snorkle.

If you are thinking about travelling to Turkey and have never been I can totally recommend this resort, the staff were very friendly, the resort was very clean and the views were breathtaking and if all of that wasn't enough the food was exceptional - the choice was unbelievable and to sit on a balcony with the sea crashing below you was simply heaven.

There are two pools in the resort, the large public one where all the pool games happen and a really good sized children's pool and the top pool which looked like something out of a sandals resort magazine - the pool and ocean seemed to flow into each other - they didn't but the optical illusion was amazing - and when you swam in the pool it felt like you were swimming towards the edge of some waterfall - but then you reach the side and realise the sea is below and you are safe - great!!

It broke my heart to come home!

The hotel was within walking distance of Ozdere, although there is little reason to venture in it was nice to NOT be hassled.

An impressive reception area was only made disappointing by the attitude of the staff that worked there. Eager to take your

WOW amazing hotel, amazing facilities!

The hotel is immaculate, cleaners always cleaning to ensure it is spotless, gardeners out working in boiling heat to keep the gardens perfect. Our bedrooms cleaned everyday and if you wanted clean towels everyday, you just had to leave them in visible sight (i.e on the floor) the maid were lovely, tidied up everything in our messy room!

The food...wow is again all I can say! you walked down marble stairs (very nice) and there are so many tables with buffet food, lots of salad, cheeses, Turkish food, English food, there were casseroles and pasta and for the children they always had chips and soup. I couldn't get enough of the food! The pudding also were amazing, so much to choose from! This hotel has the biggest variety I have seen. You could fill large jugs up with rose, red, white wine. Orange, peach, cherry juice and water and you could also get beer, coke etc from the bar.

The location of the hotel was fabulous, it was set in hills and mountains so views were always spectacular. There are two large swimming pools, one set just next to beach where main entertainment can take place and also one that gives the illusion it is meeting with the sea. There is a slide pool with many slides which are very very fun!! a little merry go round and water merry go rounds and a small splash pool with kiddies slides.

There are 2 private beaches, the bigger one which you can get pedaloes and canoes free as it is included in all inclusive. You don't ask for them either, you just get them and off you go! The water is very safe and crystal clear.

The hotel staff were very good! Always smiling and we asked a gardener for where the tennis courts were and he walked up straight there! very friendly and always trying to help :) Its a shame I can't say the same about the Thomas cook rep, didn't do much to help, just the basic so although not amazing she was still good! The whole complex is very safe, with security guards walking around at night.
Entertainment is good! the amphitheatre put on many different shows, lord of the dance, moulin rouge, many were in French but the entertainment team did their best to change it into English! the disco was also great although you have to pay for your drinks in there.
AT night there were so many things to do, people were even swimming at 11.30pm as the water is very warm.

Overall I was highly recommend this hotel, we will definitely be looking into going back! x

Came home yesterday so this is as up to date as it gets...

Hotel is spotless...You will not see a fag end on the floor for more then 1 min.

The staff and not just the young kids are on the ball 24 hours a day, most talk a bit of English but as most holidaymakers is from France most staff speak French better.

Now the things that count.....beer is ok but only in them little half pint glasses, spirits is the local sort and ok when mixed with real coke -cola.. Be warned only the disco which opens after 12 midnight is the only place to get a late drink and only serves 'UK' brands..and boy do they know how to charge, it's only a small disco with like one DJ who's one of the reps and the night we went in they was about 10 folks in.........but I wanted a beer and it was only place open and we got to hotel at 1am. Left uk at 3.30, so was ready for a beer, and it was 4 Turkish lires for a small bottle of beer..and as it was after midnight they only served cola in the bottles and that cost more just for a small cocktail size one...Whiskey and the likes work out about

Club Sultan was my 3rd All Inclusive my wife and I have stayed at, and by far the worse.

The sad thing is, it could have been great - all the negative things with this place are management issues. The hotel itself is nicely located and clean but the 'Inclusive' part is very lacking. Where to start...

The Reception - Trying to get help at the reception is a nightmare as the staff will completely ignore you here. We once tried to cancel a booking at one of the a la cartes, only to be told on 3 different occassions to come back later as the person responsible was busy (could they not have just taken a brief note?) The hotel will also charge you 1 euro a day to use the safes that are already in your room!

The Bars - the bars are terrible! I know it's a muslim country, so alcohol is never going to be one of the stronger points, but you can't get proper fruit juice anywhere in this hotel, only squash. Also, there are only a handful of the 'inclusive' local drinks. This pretty much amounts to Vodka, Gin, Raki, white wine (yellow and vinegary and often warm), red wine (watered down and often chilled!) and local beer, served 90% of the time in paper cups, even during the evenings in the main lobby bar! If you ever crave something different to drink, then don't. We bought 2 cocktails from the bar, nothing special, not that big, not that great - they cost 20 lira each! That's almost

I arrived at the hotel and was greeted in a polite and friendly manner. After a member of staff showed me to my room pointing out various noteable buildings.
The room was very clean and well maintained.
During my stay I had to visit the local dentist and the Thomas Cook, and Hotel staff were very efficient.

On first appearance the hotel looks ok but once shown to your room they are in a poor state of repair. Mould in showers very small balcony's. Ants in rooms no view as gardens are all overgrown.

The hotel staff are very unfriendly towards the English
this hotel is geared towards the French as all the entertaiment team are from France. They excluded the English at every chance even the hotel mini club was French speaking only.

The food was ok but covered in files. Children's buffet same as adults no choice for little one.

Good pool. full time

Dr on site who was in regular use with tummy upsets.

When you first see the hotel you are taken back by the beauty that soon changes after a couple of days there. The bathrooms had damp everywhere and our shower leaked which flooded the place. We mentioned it but nothing was ever done.

Hotel food? Well I got food poisoning after 3 days and had to be taken to hospital and put on a drip. The food preparation and general cleanliness left a lot to be desired. My girlfriend was also ill and people were dropping like flies on a daily basis.

The hotel is stuck in the middle of nowhere with no cash machines or telephones and a long journey in hot conditions to get to Kusadasi the nearest town with.

Rude towards the English and generally unhelpful with a few exceptions. All staff spoke French and German but very little English.

All entertainers were French and only spoke in French so impossible for English to join in.

We were really looking forward to the holiday because it all looked so nice but looks can be deceiving. I would never go there again and would not recommend the place to my worst enemy.

On arrival at the hotel the reception area was quite impressive however, on arrival at our 'sea view' room we were bitterly disappointed. The bathroom was dirty had mould in the shower and a screw where the bathroom door stop had been was clearly visible which was a cause for concern. The room itself had damp patches on the walls and the wiring to almost every lamp was a hazard. The sea views failed to impress either with trees and shrubs totally overgrown!

Our complaints fell on deaf ears consistently.

The food had to be eaten as soon as the restaurant (if you can call it that - Motorway Service facility would be more appropriate) was open as the food was sub-4 * standard, often luke warm to cold and usually inedible. We found a great restaurant in nearby Ozdere that helped us out most evenings.

In fact we caught a ferry over to Mykonos for 6 days due to the disappointment of our first visit to Turkey. The 'A la carte' restaurants served the same set meek every day and weren't appealing either.

Drinks were dispensed in the smallest polystyrene cups imaginable - to date we are still unsure what drinks were available.

The location was ok however the beach was a little overcrowded and dirty, we did however find a little cove next to the main beach which you could use but weren't told about...

The staff mainly spoke French and as a rule we were ignored mostly so we couldn't go to the evening entertainment as it would have been pointless!

Very disappointed with the star rating, the hotel generally and won't be visiting Turkey again.

When we arrived at Club Sultan Paloma hotel everything about it looked great, especially the reception. The rooms were thoroughly clean and well presented!

The food itself was lovely, the meat was alway cooked throughly, but the only problem was there wasn't really much of a choice for the younger ones apart from that lovely!

The hotel location is amazing there is so much to do the beach and pool is one to remember clean very welcoming and just brilliant!

The hotel staff were very friendly at all times, even though they spoke very little English, that does not matter because your there for the holiday not the staff!!

The entertainment never stopped! Which was great the animation team were great they worked so hard. They always thought of good games round the pool which kept everyone occupied especially my daughter Sophie. The evening entertainment was very funny. Apart from mostly being in French they still made it very funny! Jeff one of the holiday reps was extremely funny and could never keep a straight face! Brilliant!

Thanks to everyone at Club Sultan. Especially the animation team for making are stay there a holiday to never forget.

We will be coming back!!
