The hotel and grounds were always kept spotlessly clean. 3 outside swimming pools, 1 with water slides and 1 indoor one in the spa. Sun beds always available on the beach, piers and the swimming pool with water slides, but if you wanted one by the main pool were the activities took place you need to be up early. Animation team (Dream Team) were great, worked really hard to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves but were not pushy, you could do as much or little as you wanted. Activities for all ages, throughout the day. Evening entertainment was in the amphitheatre. Wide variety of food always available. We tried all 3 Al a Carte restaurants our favourite was the Turkish absolutely delicious. Free water-sports available, Banana Boat, Canoes, Pedalos and water-skiing, which our teens took full advantage of. Disco opened at 12 till 2.00am which they also enjoyed.
All sprits beer and wine were local brands and no international ones were available on the AI. There isn

the location was on the beach with lovely views and 15 mins walk into turgutries, there was a beach bar for drinks that stayed open til 6pm. the jet skis were very expensive and the hotel did boat trips but despite being an all inc this was

The food was lovely, breakfast time you could have fresh omelettes and different varieties of cooked eggs. There was an abundance of cereals to suit all taste buds and fresh fruit.
At lunchtime around the pool area there was burgers, chips and pizza on offer and at the buffet restaurant ample dishes to choose from eg rice, meats and salads.
Evening dinner there was also a couple of barbecue stations around the terrace area of the buffet restaurant which offered meatballs, chicken etc all meat was different every night. They also barbecued tuna and trout.
The setting for the Italian restaurant was lovely it was situated near the beach. The food was enjoyable and the service was great.
The turkish restaurant was situated in the childrens activity area, the food here was very varied and plentiful offering 7 courses in total.
The location of the hotel was beachfront with a 10 - 15 minutes walk to Turgtreis centre which was a lovely walk especially after eating a meal.
The staff were extremely helpful especially reception.
There was a wide variety of different daytime activities with the animation team, and from the jetty area this included banana boat, water skiing, canoes and pedaloes which were all free.
Hubby and I will most definitely return back to this hotel in the future.

The beach was quite narrow but it never got busy enough to feel cramped. Beware when you go in the sea though because it's a steep incline and can be a tad difficult to get out off but very amusing for everyone watching. The main pool was always clean and got nice and warm as the day wore on. We didn't go to the other pools but people i spoke to recommended them.
The entertainment was good during the day (i came 2nd in the jenga competition) but i didn't pay much attention to the evening stuff. The "dream team" were all nice and not too pushy and would often sit with guests at lunch time, which was nice. When we had a serious problem (only once) they kept on checking that we were alright. Not at all amateurish so don't worry.
So, the one big problem we did have is that both our room and the room of another couple of girls were, respectively, opened when we weren't there, not for cleaning either because the maids had already been, and on 2 occasions the door was opened whilst i was in the bathroom but when i shouted they disappeared. The other girls were much more unfortunate because they had things stolen. When we went to guest relations to complain we were treated abominably. They were extremely unhelpful and sarcastic and unapologetic even when faced with the electronic evidence from the room keys they still wouldn't admit it wasn't just in our heads!!!! Absolutely awful customer service. I only got an apology from the guest relations person after I told her that i was going to complain about her shocking attitude towards me!!
Don't let that put you off though because the rest of the holiday was that good we're going in October.
We went on 2 boat trips but not through the reps because it worked out cheaper to book with Jack. Jack sells the boat trips for the Albatross and another boat that leaves from the hotel. We had such a good time on these trips. They were the best days out that we have ever had on a holiday. We did nothing but laugh and swim in the sea. The drinks and snacks were not cheap but we took our own so didn't spend that much. Rabbit Island is a must but we actually preferred going to the South islands. If you do book with Jack then make him really really sell it too you. He spent half an hour selling us the first one and he was very amusing!
We have recommended this hotel to everyone we know and six people have already booked for next year.
Holiday of a lifetime. Oh, and go to the disco bar because the barman just dances all the time.

all i can say is this could be a fantastic hotel but they need to change the staff and get an entertainment group together.

I am writing to complain about our holiday that we have just returned from, to The Aegean Dream Resort Turgutreis Turkey.
Firstly, when we got to the resort we were given the wrong rooms on arrival, when we told the rep the following morning, she spoke to the management of the hotel, who stated that there was an error and that we would be placed in the correct rooms the following day, she also promised that we could have late check out rooms on our departure. We went to the reception the following day at the time we was told to, only to find out that the rooms wasn

Wwe love this place excellent staff, good food, clean, everything we want in a holiday and a holiday is what you make it. Thanks emin for making our holiday special.
Excellent room with jacuzzi on the balcony, 2 sunbeds, table and chairs.
They all work very hard at all times and probably for not a vast amount of wages so thanks again to all of you who made our holiday special.
See you in September, cant wait.

The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels provided. There was a mini-bar topped up every day with water and fruit juice, a pointless Sky TV with tonnes of German channels (if you like that kind of thing then its cool!), the bathroom was amazing with a walk in power shower! Wish I had that shower back home!! - and the Safety Deposit box was free of charge!
The food was okay but what do you expect when you hit a foreign country?! There were plenty salads, pasta, chicken, lamb, pizza, burgers, potatoes etc so you can't really complain about that! If you do - well why go to a foreign country - what the heck to you expect?!...
If you do fancy something different for your dinner (not all inclusive and about 200 yards from hotel, go out the back of the hotel by the beach and turn left - it's just after La Blanche Spa Resort on the left) - there is a restaurant called "The Well". A guy will try to brag you to go in - don't be put off by this as we went in just to shut the guy up and were going to give him a b*llocking if the food was rubbish - but my hubby had a steak and I had a chicken curry and rice - WOW is all I can say. My hubby said it was the bestest steak he has ever tasted - and the dishes were massive - and it was cheap! We ended up going back about 4 times for another meal!
The drink was okay too, beer in a glass!!! We were never offered plastic cups so the person that mentioned this in the last review must've been unlucky! I didn't even see anybody with a plastic cup with beer or wine in it (only for kids with slush juice which is better than a glass in my books!!).
The bars were plentiful but the Starlight bar upstairs was a mare to get served - with people trying to skip the queue which I hate!!! Most of them British!!! But they didn't stand a chance with me in the queue heehee!
The pool was not cold which I preferred and it wasn't stacked full of kids as they were either at the beach or by the slides which has a separate pool.
Entertainment was not too bad - seen worse. Day entertainment I wasn't too fussed about as I was too busy trying to get a tan!!! Night entertainment was funny at times.
Hotel staff were very pleasant - but my hubby had to raise his voice once at the receptionist as he wouldn't accept an English

The location was great. the hotel faces out onto an expanse of sea with only a few islands dotted about. To the left of the hotel you can see Kos, really pretty at night with the lights sparkling away - to the right is the headland with the white buildings of Kalkadeski, again relly pretty at night. There are Hotels and Villas to each side, all pretty small apart from La Blanche.
The walk into Turgutreis is a gentle 10 minute stroll, there are a few bars on the way if needed! Some parts are unlit at night. Opposite the reception entrance are a few shops, tour agencies and a nightclub.
The best part of the hotels location however are the sunsets, they really are stunning and I haven,t seen a photo to do them justice. They happen pretty quickly though so be ready.
The place is spotlessly clean , they take great pride in the public areas and grouds. Cleaners are around from 6 am until midnight. There is a dawn patrol on the beach picking up tiny pieces of rubbish by hand, there are cleaners around the pool area all day and as a result it never gets slippy. Rooms are cleaned daily and although it says sheets/ towels changed every 3 days it seemed to be every day to me. A small gripe , our room wasn't done until 6pm on a few days. Thereis a small fridge in your room , again stocked with juice/ water every day. You could have as many small bottles of water frrom the Lobby Bar as you wanted and 2 litre bottles from the restaurant if you asked
There are 3 bars , the Lobby Bar(10.00 - 24.00) in reception with 2 courtyards was very peaceful' The Starlight Bar(16.00 -24.00) is on the 3rd floor and is the best place for sunset. The pool bar is open 10.00 -02.00. This was our least favourite in the evening as we were served in plastic glasses , despite asking for real glass! It also seemed to be a bit understaffed, sometimes only 1 barman with a queue 10 long. There is also a bar in the Disco open until 2am. Barstaff were very strict about serving under 18s and I saw security called on a few occasions if there was any query , all low key.
There are 4 pools 1 indoor , 1 quiet - water cooler in here very welcome in 45 degree heat, on with the slides and the main pool. The main pool is small for the size of the hotel but never seemed to get crowded. All seemed clean and well maintained although there were some reports of ear infections at the slide pool. Sunbeds are at a premium around the main pool, but there are plenty (including doubles) at the slide pool and on the beach. I also didn't have any difficulties gettin beds on the Jetty. I am an early riser and enjoy an hour by myself before breakfast but even I struggled at the main pool after 7am. Beach is seperated from the hotel by a public path. Security are here and they also change your towels!
The food was pretty good but quite repetitive. The staff change the trays regularly and it is always hot when it arrives but cools quickly as people tended to leave the lids up.
Lunchtimes and evenings always had grills and specials cooking on the walkway to the restaurants, this included desserts in the enening doughnuts, fritters and flambed melon for example . Ice cream 2 or 3 times a week. There would be 3/4 hot dishes plus veg. They do rely heavily on turkey , never knew it had so many parts to be cooked in so many ways!!Good salad selection, cheese and meat. Fresh Pide every day
Breakfast - fresh omelettes and fried eggs to order plus pancakes
Cereal ,fruit( Peaches first week, but then restricted to melon, grapefruit, plums and grapes)yogurt , frankfurter type sausage, boliled eggs, scramled eggs bread jam and honey . Plus cheese meat etc. Plenty of fresh bread and rolls all day
Snack bar durgers, chips, pizza, salad and fruit every day. There was a lady cooking fresh pancakes on a bakestone and these were really good
The main restaurant had 3 theme nights a week. Italian on Sunday,Turkish on Weds ( the best) and Fish on friday . The 3 speciality resturants seemed to be popular - we never tried them as the Menu did't appeal to the girls.
Tea and coffee at 4 and on 2 days a week they set up a hotdog or jacket potato stall outside the pool bar.
Staff seemed genuinely happy, helpful and friendly although some of the barmen seemed overworked in the Pool Bar and late evening at the Starlight bar. I only drink wine so can't comment on quality of other drinks. Wine was ok ,sparkling wine (only at the Starlight ) very nice indeed. I tried 1 cocktail but as it was made from the squashes , too sweet for me altough the girls liked the non alcoholic ones and the milkshakes.
Entertainment- young , keen team but inexperienced showed in the nightly shows, pretty poor but I am sure they will improve. Some of them had only been there 6 weeks. The old team moved lock , stock and barrel to the La Blanche - you could see them from the prom and seemed quite funny.WE didn't try the watersports but youngest did go SCUBA diving (extra) and is a convert.
Some lovely places to eat near the hotel if you want a change but not in Town. I recommend the Anatolian - trad turkish dress, raised platforms and live camels!!(not to eat!!) and Our Garden , nice setting , open pit fire. Both with really friendly staff. A walk along the beach to Kakadesi brings you to some lovely relaxed beach bars - took us 45 mins each way but worth it to eat surrounded by (huge) chickens and a assorted goats.Go to Gummusluk - 20 mins by Dolmus, explore Rabbit Island and walk towards Myndos (away from the main area)and have a relaxed and cheap meal on the seafront
All in all a very nice hotel which we liked very much but didn't love.
Would go again if at the right price in a few years time
