Location
Our accommodation was two club rooms with a climb of only 27 steps, some people had 195 steps. The rooms are small but adequate, however the beds are hard. The beds only get made up no bedding change, however the towels are changed daily. The rooms do not get mopped, swept or dusted, prepare to have dirty feet, complaints are generally met with a shrug of the shoulders!
The food is B&B, boring and bland. In the case of chicken cooked in the Marina buffet, undercooked causing a lot of illness. The reception staff are all supposed to speak English, however, this is yes or no and they took 3 days to pass a message of a family bereavement to us.

I sometimes thought that the bar staff at the main bar were a little ignorant towards women and children. One day I watched as my daughter stood at the almost empty bar for 5 minutes being ignored by all the bar staff. It was not the first time it had happened. I made by observations known to them and they were very apologetic and I didn't notice it happen again.
As previously said on the other reports the boat to Fetiyhe although very pleasant is a bit of a cattle market and for the cost of the taxi it's not really worth waiting around for.
We had to change rooms as we were on the ground floor and the people above were very noisy late at night. The rooms are wooden and people walking above you with their shoes on can be quite annoying. We had no trouble changing rooms and although the second one was on the ground floor also we did not have noisy neighbours. The steps and the hills to rooms are tiring in the heat of the day but you do get used to it.
Everywhere is spotlessly clean and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The pools are delightful.
You can make this place as relaxing or as energetic as you like. There is somewhere and something for everyone. I can highly recommend it.

We found the food fine although as with most AI a bit boring after 2 weeks, the one problem we did find was if you were slightly late for lunch then you ended up with a side table in the sun which at midayish could be uncomftable, but I suppose this is our own fault for not gettin there earlier, there were plenty of daytime activities to take part in if you were so inclined although we found that some guests (russian and german) could take the volleyball at bit too serious.
Nightime entertainment was not too bad although we only went to the shows 4 times out of the 2 weeks we were there, there was then a disco at the far end of the complex which was an experience to say the least, the lobby bar was open all night if you wanted a late drink and a ham/cheese roll.
We travelled in to Fethiye via the shuttle boat most days which we found easy enough as long as you got to the boat stop early enough as it could get a bit crowded. But all in all a lovely place with friendly staff and will be going again in the near future.

The place is so beautiful in fact It is by far the best hotel we have stayed at whilst in Turkey and I have stayed in quite a few.
The only down side to this hotel is the amount of walking you have to do to get from place to place as it quite large and there are also a number of stairs to climb so if you have trouble walking this will not suit you.
The shows which the animation team put on where excellent and there were around 30 in the team so the shows were very professional. There was a singer in the evening around the bar area which you could have a dance to though we were a little young for this type of music. At 12 o'clock the disco started so you could bop about until 2.30am if you wanted.
There are three nice little beaches dotted around the resort, one had all the non motorized watersports on which were all free you could even have free windsurfing and sailing lessons of which one of our party had so she could then take a boat out. There were also 3 waterslides on this beach which were great fun.
The food in the hotel was excellent especially if you like to try lots of different flavours which I do. If you expect good old fashioned roast beef and 2 veg you will be disapointed. You must try the fish restaurant while you are there as the tables are set out on the beach and it is very romantic. The meal conisited of 4 courses which all were very nice. The Turkish a la cart was equally as good. They also had a sushi restaurant which we didn't try as I didn't fancy this. You have to book the 3 a la cart restaurants on the day between 9-12am to get in.
Getting to Fethiye is fairly easily as there is a boat that takes you free of charge though we did find on our second week it was getting very busy and not running to its time table. There are taxi's outside reception and they cost around 7 pounds each way.
I would definitely recommend this hotel so if you are considering this area just book it you will not be dissapointed.

Reception was helpful when needed and all baggage portered to room and collected upon return. Lobby bar open 24hours and was certainly open at 1.00am!!
At times there seemed to be more cleaning staff than paying customers - they appeared to be trying to catch the leaves and flowers before they hit the ground at one stage!!
Unfortunately, my son was sick on the plane which left his and my wife's clothes covered in sick!! The hotel offers a laundry service which was very good and relatively cheap - approx

The sea and beach areas are cleaned morning and night. The food is great and varied. The view of the sunsets from the moonlight resturant are awesome.
The hotel is too far out of Fethiye to walk. A return daytime taxi cost

The people who had the little moans were British people, the staff went out of their way to rectify the problem as quickly as possible.
The rooms were very clean the sheets and towels were changed daily. I phoned reception to say that our air conditioning was not working, 10 minutes later a man came and mended it. I mentioned to one of the staff that I was cold one evening (in May the evenings can be a little cool) when we went back to our room there were 2 blankets on our beds. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
The food was lovely and plenty to choose from.
The staff always looked so clean and smart in their various uniforms.
The entertainment staff worked so hard morning until night, the shows were excellent.
Last year my husband and I and my four children went to Letoonia had the most fantastic time their ages are 5,10,14 and 16.
Yes o.k the steps could be an issue if you had difficulty in walking, but I was pleased to get some exercise after all the eating!
This hotel is is a wonderful place and I don't see any reason why anyone would dislike it. Infact I went back in June this year with my sister, and I am going back next month with my friends for my 40th birthday.

Our transfers were a bit wierd as we had to change coaches there and back, which just added to the length of the transfer time, and was extra difficult for people with young families.
The Hotel is stunning, the surroundings very lush, the long walk up the steps can be a bit daunting, but you really do get used to it, although we had rain for a while and it did make the steps very slippery.
Our room was in H, if can avoid it please do as, there wasn't a sea veiw, and quite noisy, very near the tennis court staff quarters, various deliveries made during the night often disturbed your sleep. We found the beds to be very hard and not very comfortable.
But after having moaned a bit, the rest was great. It was always very clean, staff constantly clearing away and always pleasant and polite. The wasps can be a bit scary when you are eating but again you get used to them.
The food is excellent, beautifully presented with lots of variety. My husband is a veggie and there was a very good selection of food for him to chose from.
The were no restristions on how much or how often you ate and drank, if you miss one place you find food and snacks, cakes to fill you up until the next meal. Hot doughnuts by the pool seemed to be a fav with most people.
The vitimin bar by the pool did a selection of three, but wow they were great in the mornings.
The fish restrurant is a must, a la carte, but you have to be up early to book it, well worth a visit, we were visited by a leather back turtle and a squid whilst having our meal.
On out last night (14/10/04) we ate at the lighthouse more adult romantic with great views, but wear mozzie spray as the like to feast on you while you dine.

Grounds were well maintained and the setting of the resort on a peninsula was very pleasant.
Plenty of staff constantly cleaning, helpful and courtious.
Food was buffet style in main restuarants which was varied and plentiful, a la carte restuarants were very pleasant and food in the turkish one really nice.
Resort location a short boat or taxi ride from Fethiye harbour and town which was small and fairly relaxed, variety of restaurants in town.
Water sports at resort were good and not busy but we went at the season end.
Evening entertainment was very good for all ages and very international.
All in all a really nice resort that we all enjoyed and would certainly recommend.
