Location
My husband and I and twin daughters (age 3) thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We were greeted on arrival and our check in was quick and easy with help getting our cases to our room. The rooms are basic, expect no frills, but they were clean and roomy. We hired the air con for about

The rooms were basic but absolutely fine. My only complaint was the size of our balcony which was so small that 2 of us couldn't sit out on it at once, let alone 4! The balconies did vary for different rooms though so think this was luck of the draw.
We took half board and paid very little extra at the time of booking compared to B& B so I'd definitely recommend this. Plenty of choice for adults and children and we enjoyed all the meals.
Had a great holiday and will definitely return to this hotel.

As stated before, no money is used as card system is in use, and we paid ours every am. Pool area was very clean, and plenty of loungers at any time this time of year.
Prices at pool and bar. Beer was 4.0 lira for large beer, vodka was 6.5 lira, which are not much dearer than outside hotel, but vodka is not as strong. Coke was 3.5 lira for small glass. There is a small shop at entrance, where you can buy anything and take into hotel. As we are not pool people, we sat in gardens at entrance, which is more peaceful and just went into shop for beer & juice etc., which is cheaper than bar prices, and drank in garden. Those with kids should buy coke/ice cream/lollies etc., here and take to pool(you are allowed to do this) as you will save a small fortune, as a large bottle of coke is same price as small glass inside.
Meals. Breakfast was OK for all tastes. Dinner was also OK for all tastes. For those on HB ignore the theme nights, as you have to pay an extra

First and foremost to mention is the staff. They will go so far out of there way to make sure you have a great stay it is unbelievable! By the time we left it was like saying goodbye to old friends. It is them that makes Asena a superb place to stay asopposed to a really good one!
Now on to the rest - the rooms themselves are pretty basic and not exactly huge, but have ample room for showering and changing. A few days after the cleaners had been in we came back to find the bed decorated with the towels in a heart-shape and fresh flowers scattered around the bed. Again, another little touch that make a lot of difference.
When we stayed in August 2006, the evening meals were served on the outside terrace which makes for a lovely and very romantic setting to eat. Unfortunately, as we went in September this year, the evenings were just that bit cooler and they had moved the evening meals into the restaurant.
As mentioned previously, breakfast is a fairly basic selection of cereals, breads, meats & cheeses. Come the evening meals it is like a different world - the quality and freshness of the food served up is of the highest quality. Every night has a selection of cold Turkish Mezes (Starters)and three or four main dishes. Every couple of nights they will have a "themed" night, usually Seafood, BBQ and for those getting homesick they even have a Sunday Roast Night!!
Entertainment is mainly provided by a team of 8-10 staff who work as bar-staff / waiters / entertainers all rolled into one. For the ladies the "Asena Boys Staff Dance" is something else!!
They also have artistes coming in ranging from the traditional belly dancers (female and male!!) to a superb Fire Show!
As we went after the school term had restarted this year we found it not to be so busy and therefore had no problem finding a lounger round the pool any time of day!
Drinks etc are paid for using a card system which as mentioned previously, can add up if you dont either keep and eye on it (by keeping your receipts when you sign for anything) or paying it off at regular intervals. On saying that, the drinks are very cheap so you would need to knock-back quite a bit to run up an excessive bill!
Another big plus about Asena Village is the location. It is only a 5 minute walk into nearby Hisaronu which means it is away from the main bars & shops so is very peaceful and serene.
Facilities for kids are also good with a dedicated Asena Kids Club, although I cannot comment further as we did not have any kids in the group!
Would definately recommend Asena Village to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay and with staff that are some of the friendliest & most helpful people I have met!
