upon arrival we were taken quickly to our room. 4 beds which I didnt expect however dont expect a big balcony -only room for 2 chairs but we didnt really spend much time in the room. They are cleaned every day and towels/sheets changed every day also. This hotel is absolutely brilliant. From morning til night you are 100% entertained by the bar staff. They cannot do enough for you and at any given time there are at least 5-6 of them walking round the pool to get you drinks, lunch etc. My 2 children (4 and 6)loved it and have asked to go back again next year. My 4 year old says the turks are mad and he's right. They love making fools of themselves and the Staff Night is a hoot from start to finish. As long as you are laughing then the staff are happy too. Well done everyone at Asena Village!!!!

My husband and I visited this complex for a week in May.We had read the reviews and 99% of them were very positive.
I am saddened to say that we did not enjoy our time at Asena Village purely due to the fact that you are constantly harassed to spend spend spend. We were initally B&B but changed to half board. The food was alright but every morning you were asked to pay more money if you wanted the specials on offer that eveining. The staff were obviously geared up to get you to spend as much as possible. I wouldnt mind but their prices were very expensive compared to the bars outside the complex. You are not allowed to take any food or drink into the complex even a bottle of water was taken from me. The water cost me 50c in the supermarket. To buy the same bottle in the hotel shop cost 1 lire 20c. This mark up was the same for everyting.
It became quite obvious that because we didnt stay around the pool all day spending money and left to go to the local bars in the evening that we were of no interest to the staff. The turkish bath is better at the Pine Valley Hotel next door to the Asena Village where you are treated with respect. I wouldnt recmmend this hotel to anyone. There is a particular sort of person this complex suits need I say more.

Hotel staff very obliging - but I echo the previous remarks - they were geared up to sell! Rooms cleaned and linen changed daily. Heating/ aircon had to be paid extra for- unless you were a Thompsons guest! Extra blankets and linen always available if needed.
Children were very well catered for in the entertainment department, Fire eaters and belly dancers also staff entertainment most evenings, also very loud music - the volume control did not seem to work - only to turn it up! They were working on a quiet lounge area as we left.
Food was good but repetative - English breakfast was extra as were daily "special offers" such as BBQ, Cock pot, and Fish evenings. A la carte menu good. I have a special diet needs, this was abley and very willingly catered for. Drinks and snacks available all day but more expensive than off site. Food and drinks form outside were not allowed on site, and items were confiscated if they were detected! Disabled access not so good. A lot of steps to the swimming pool area, and a very steep slope as the alternative! This alone would prevent my return.

Well what can I say. Just got back from holiday and have to say it was one of our best holidays ever. Only booked 6 days before which I have never done before but got a fantastic deal. We have been to Hisaronu several times before so know the area very well. The hotel has just opened for the holiday season and I have to say nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was well positioned with no other hotels behind us so great views of the mountains. Rooms where cleaned every day with clean towels and bedding. Staff where exceptional and extremely friendly. Food was fantastic. Yes we were shown the a la carte menu at breakfast but chose to stay with the buffet selection but staff did not push as previous report to this. Entertainment was fantastic and varied and staff did great dance routines. Everyone works very hard and are very eager to please. I would have to say you would be very hard to please if you didn't have good reviews for this hotel. Also I would have to mention the kids club which my daughter is still talking about run by a lovely English girl called Kirsty. Will certainly be going back next year!

This was our first visit to Turkey having avoided it for years, and now I wonder why as this has got to be one of the best holidays ever, not got a bad word to say about it. Our ages ranged from 8 to 84, and we all had an absolutely brilliant time. We stayed on a half board basis and the food was great, a good variety, plenty of it and the bbq on wed is a must. The Turkish people are so friendly and can't do enough for you. As for the staff at The Asena, they are wonderful, very entertaining, they work tirelessly to keep everyone happy, so if you are going please say hello and a big thank you to Dave, Gazi, Hakan, Simon, Mustafa, Bilal, Emrah, Sait, Sertac and Halil to name but a few. Hoping to go back in September and can't wait.

We stayed at the Asena Village for 2 weeks with our 2 daughters 21 and 15. They had the time of their lives. The staff at this hotel are amzing. Breakfast was just alot of fun. The guys work so hard to make sure you are happy all the time. Entertaining you is their priority. The bar staff around the pool greet everybody, you are just treated so well. Everybody is so friendly alll day and all night. We met some great guys here and our daughters are already looking to go back next year. You dont just have be a blonde female to get attention. My husband was treated with the utmost respect, our daughters and myself we all treated in a respectful way also. The hotel is clean the food is amazing.....evry night we ate something different and were never dissappointed. YOU MUST go to the ABU night if you ca. This was on our second night there and I am so glad we stayed for it. This was deifnately the best night we had there. It was agreat introdution to the staff, which really helped. We laughed all night. It was fantastic.
The bar staff make you feel at home always chatting.Loads of fun at night.Fantastic. Reception staff were really lovely, even when I spent too much money and queried my bill. lovely people. I loved asena village.close to the town loads and loads of night life.....fantastic. drinking every where gets expensive notjust in the hotel. prices are the same in the bars.....food in the outside restaurants was wonderful. Dont, DONT go to the chinese eat all you can buffet. unless you like a place with no atmosphere, not good food, no atmosphere, we wish we hadnt bothered. Turkish people are LOVELY... morison little shop......my favourite liilte men....they are so friendly...Hisaronu is great eat drink and be merry in fantastic surroundings with great people.....

I stayed at The Asena Village Hotel in august 2008 with my husband and my two daughters who are aged 15 and 17. I can honestly say that this was the best holiday we have ever been on and because it was so good we are already booking our holiday for next year for May and hopefully August! Our holiday was extra special because of how friendly and helpful all the staff are... at breakfast times they came to our table and took the time to talk to us all, during the day while we was around the pool area, the barstaff would include us all in the hotel activities including beach volleyball, water polo, water volleyball and lots more. We got along really well with all the staff and they even took their own time to plan a surprise party for my daughter Zoe for her 15th birthday. It was absolutely amazing and she has told me that it is the best birthday ever... So I would like to especially thank Saygin for planning everything and buying her the champagne and getting a personalized birthday cake made. One day while we were in Fethiye town, we saw Kad and Kirsty on their day off and they both came over and spoke to us which made us feel happy because they knew who we were and the fact that we was staying at the hotel. Every evening when the waiters were setting up for dinner, they got my youngest daughter Zoe to help them set the tables up and sort all the stuff out for dinner... she really liked the fact that they included her and had the time to talk to her. The evenings well what can i say ... they were just Amazing! all of my family joined in with the evening entertainment which made our holiday even better. We especially like the staff song and dance as we got to see them taking their clothes off, my daughters really enjoyed that. Overall, our holiday was so good that the night we left everybody was crying and refusing to let us leave, they asked us to stay out here forever, which made us feel like they really respected us. All the barstaff and waiters waited outside with us for our coach to come and pick us up so that they could say bye... My youngest daughter Zoe is still in contact with most of the staff and we cannot wait to see them all again next year... I would like to thank all the staff at Asena Village for helping to make our holiday the greatest... with an extra special thank you to all the barstaff: Kad, Kirsty, Saygin, Suleyman, Sait, Condom, David (who we knew as 007 Jennifer Lopez) and all other barstaff and the waiters: Sugar, Ice-cream, N.Semih, Mustafa, Ozcan, Ramazan, Yasin and all the other waiters. I would like to say a special thank you to N. Semih as he was always looking out for Zoe (who is my youngest) and always made her laugh and had a joke with her.. He was so upset when we was leaving that he brought Zoe a leaving present, which she has told me she will keep forever and so in return she gave him something. N. Semih was Zoe's favourite person at the hotel and she told me that she cannot wait to see him again next year. Zoe will be 16 next year really wants to move out to Turkey now and get a job at the Hotel because she loved it that much. She said to me "I want to work there and be either a waitress or help Kirsty to run the kids club!" I hope she can make her dream come true and be able to do it as me and my husband are going to support her 100%. We cannot wait to see you all again next year. Thank you once again . X
