Worth paying all inclusive for the drinks, but not the food. Expect to eat out occasionally.
Best rooms: Ground floor, facing the pool.

The Resort has eveything to offer for the whole family. There are lots of places to eat from English dishes to traditional turkish meals. The Piano Bar and Olive tree were favorites of ours and were always busy.
There are lots and lots of shops from one off shops selling everything from clothes to bags to proper jewellery stores. The Dolmus (meaning Stuffed - small buses) that run around Hisaranou to Feithye and Olu Deniz are very cheap.
The resort has lots of entertainment from Karaoke Bars to Discos to family places, the Loud music bars are all down one end of the resort so they never disturb the other places and these do not become lively until about 11pm to midnight.
If you want a change for an evening go down to Feithye or Olu Deniz as these resorts are only 15 mins by dolmus in either direction and will only cost you 70p (bargain). There is so much to see and do, I would recommend a day cruise with Hamish Mcturk which cost £7 each and that was for a whole day and included food.
The para gliding over Olu Deniz was fatastic with sky sports.
Within the resort you can bargain with the locals and barter them down in price and come away with some real bargins, you can even use the british pound and they will give you pounds back.
The beach is a 15 min dolmus away but that was never a problem, the beach was great, lovely and clean and the bars and food oulets were the same in price as the resort.
We will be travelling back later this year, the resort has changed a bit in the last 3 years which was when I visited it before but it has not been spoilt.

I give the beach standard rating a 5 but the only setback is you must catch the Dolmus to OLU DENIZ before you reach it. About 2.5 or 2million five hundred thousand in old money!
Hisaronu is set high in the mountains in between Fetiye and Olu deniz.
A little cooler but so welcome in the Summer months.
When I say cooler..90- and 100 degrees is cool compared to 140 in Fethiye and Olu DENIZ.
Lets not beat about the bush.
Hisaronu is the ultimate British Village in Turkey...Nearby Ovacick has eventually merged with Hisaronu due to recent expansion and the construction of Villas and Duplex properties (mostly owned by Brits) investing in property.
However..Areas in kaya and Fethiye still boast Unspoilt Turkey Locations for those wishing for the more Traditional Turkey Holiday.
Whatever your choice...Fethiye...Olu Deniz and Hisaronu offer a wide range of adventures and excursions to suit all tastes.
The Bay of Fethiye is situated almost in the centre Turkey's western coastline.
For all of those who wish to visit either north , South or west..it is located in the prime position.
If you do visit this area...please use a proportion of your budget to Tandem Hang glide over the spectacular views OF Olu Deniz Blue Lagoon.
PS...Please visit Billy in the English Restaurant..(HAN HOTEL HISARONU)...for any further advice ranging from Places to visit and the perils and pros of Turkish Viagra!
Happy Holidays!

Hisaronu olu Deniz is one of the prettiest resorts on Turkey. The Blue Lagoon is amazing. It is such relaxing place.
You have everything their lively bars and lots of Shops in Hisaronu or nice quiet & relaxing days in Olu Deniz. Paragliding, Micro lights or just pedaloes something for everyone.
We highly recommend this resort we also love Icemeler but maybe now we are little older Olu Deniz juts pips the post for us. Turkey is our favorite country & we have visited quite a few happy holidaying

cleanliness of resort was much higher than other turkish resorts we've stayed in. Usual foreign entertaiment everywhere had a very laid back atmosphere. Bobs beach the best sand for children go to the lagoon and ask a taxi or dolmus to take you there.a place called monkey house is good for kids like a huge indoor play area pay once then return as much as you like that day. would definatley return.

The resort is beautiful, it caters for all ages, and you feel safe there. Children are well looked after and made to fell safe.
The beach is only a bus ride away and can get very busy in the high season. However, there are other beaches around, opposite the lagoon, ie. Bob's beach opposite the hotel meri and the dolmos (bus)takes you straight there for no extra charge, and most beaches have there own private transport and will take you back to your hotel.
You will not be disturbed by any music late into the morning because by their law, all bars have to shut their doors at midnight to kerb any disturbances to the surrounding hotels.
Hisaronu I feel is better than Fetyie and Olu Deniz in the high season because it is cooler in the mountains.
So if you feel that you

Although the resort is very clen and friendly i didnt like the fact thta the beach is like a man made beach even thoough they say it isnt. This is the only fault i found and who needs abeach when you got a pool anyway?Resort overall very good and looking to go back again next july

Hisaronu is up in the mountains so if you want to go to the beach you will have to hop on a dolmus and go down to Oludeniz. The beach is nice but you can either take a bus or walk over to the lagoon which is just out of this world!!

Although it has no beach, Olu Deniz is within a few minutes dolmus ride. We love this village, it is quiet by day with its lovely scenic setting and good choice of shops but in the evening it comes alive with an excellent choice of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. The main street is closed to traffic at 7pm which makes it safe to wander around taking in the entertainment in the evening. People are friendly, many get to know you and welcome you back. Monday weekly market, Fethiye within 15 minutes. Excellent centre for daytime activities and tours, walking horse-riding, microlite and paragliding.
