Hisaronu is a lovely place and I have already booked to go back in 2007,lots of lovely bars and places to eat,market on a Monday is small but well worth a visit.

the resort was always very clean and tidy.
if they were struggling with the entertainment the bar staff were happy enough to entertain, and they really were a great form of entertainment along with the waiters.
i only visited the beach once as it was very hot! however the water was crystal clear and it was surrounded by beautiful mountains.

We stayed in hisaro( sorry cany spell it) and there is a vast variouty of shops resteraunts and bar to choose from. At night time there nite life was estatic. Something for all age groups. The beaches are single however clean and the sea is beautiful. i would go to the resort again.

The resort of Hisaranou has lots of restaurants/cafes and you can just go in for the "odd beer or two"! without having to order a meal.
We stayed for 2 weeks and ate out every night and could have stayed at least another four weeks and not visited them all! There is every food you would want to eat from Engligh "chippies", Italian, Indian, Chinese & Mexican. The Turkish food was brilliant I even had a "Kebab" so much nicer than the ones we have here.
Although there is no beach here the one in Olu Deniz is only a short distance away again this is very clean.
We stayed for 2 weeks and ate out every night and could have stayed at least another four weeks and not visited them all! A very English-loved resort with a Turkish tradition. Many Restaurants and bars all competing for business.
Never had a bad meal but be prepared to wait during peak time 9pm-10pm as service can be slow! Also shop around as prices are given in both Sterling and Lira and can differ.
Be aware if you visit the Hisaronu Monday market as they are very much geared towards English tourists and will over-inflate their prices. Barter away!

Hisaronu is a beautiful place with the backdrop of mountains around you.
Beach at Olu Deniz ok but not as good as publicised.
Never had a bad meal in two weeks trying one different nearly every.

great location,easy to get to beaches and some great trips.
excellent night life after midnight!!!locals make this a graet area to visit.

Hisaronu was great lots of bars and places to eat the people didnt hassle you like in other Turkish resorts.

This is our second visit and unfortunately appears to be our last. It's starting to look like Blackpool with loads of tacky shops and nothing but British quisine and chips. Olu Deniz/Hisaronu is a beautiful place but is being spoilt by over-development and commercialisation which is a great shame. There are plenty of activities to keep you occupied like Paragliding (recommended), White Water Rafting (do it before the river gets dammed-up), Jeep Safari etc. etc.
