Worth paying all inclusive for the drinks, but not the food. Expect to eat out occasionally. Best rooms: Ground floor, facing the pool.

By the end of the week I was fed up with seeing 'SHOCK - pie and chips here with real Bisto gravy' noooooooo! Hisaronu is close to becoming another featureless tourist trap with no identity, aimed at those who want a home away from home. Other than the odd kebab seller, I found it difficult to find an authentic Turkish eatery - we could have been in Blackpool.

However, the selection of bars was good and during the summer months the authorities close off the main road so it was nice and safe for families.

We went down to Oludenis, to visit the beach and was a little put off by the shingle, the pool was our fave choice. We also found the bar/restaurant staff over pushy and was glad to get back up the mountain.

Would I go back? If a late came up again at the same price, yes for sure. Would I book it for my next summer holiday? No.

Hisaronu is a very friendly area with amazing veiws of the spectacular mountains that will take your breath away.

The people are caring and kind, they would not hesitate to help you if you are in need. the food is fabulous. we recommend Pizza Pepino which is in Hisaronu (our favourite restaraunt).

The clubs around Hisaronu are filled with life and excitment, the drink is so cheap (well so is everything there!) all we can really say is that we loved every second of the day in turkey and weve been there 3 times already and we are definitely going there again!

This is are 2nd yr in Hisaronu and we went back to all the bars where we went last year and everyone remembered are names it was amazing to see everyone again!!

A really good bar is Churchills this is were we spent most of your night but it does close early so we moved on to Grand Boozey, Time Out or Zombies.

Hisaronu resort is a lovely small resort it was a 10 minute bus ride to the beach in Olu Deniz and it cost around £1 for the bus but the bus service is amazing over there as it stops wherever you want and picks you up were you want!!

We are going back next year again to see everyone again.

We stayed in Hisaranou, the resort was so clean.

You had trouble finding rubbish thrown away by tourists, Olu Deniz beach is terrible, its the nearest beach to us,its all stones very uncomfortable.

The bars and resteraunts more than make up for it, its a shame as I love beaches ,I love swimming in the sea, but all those stones and rocks made it hell to get in and out of the water, lots of the usual things to do, jumping 6.000 ft of a mountain strapped to a guy a lot smaller than you, boat trips, banana , and doughnuts, and I went on a microlight and it was the experience of a life time, yes I would visit Hisaranou, and Olu Deniz again.

The resort itself seems very quiet and relaxing and a 15min walk down to the town and it is bussling with restuarants, shops and bars, the clothes do seem very cheep but the denomination of the lira makes you feel that you are spending alot.
They do expect you to barter !!!!.

During the days there are alot of companies offering day trip excursions, We would definetly recommend the Jeep Safari! plus these excursions are very reasonably priced and well worth the money as lunch and entertainment is included.

No beach in Hisaronu hence the rating, although Olu Deniz is only 10 mins on the bus and is stunning.

Also took some excursions which included trips to beaches (e.g.Dalyan which was amazing). Excursions all booked through Hamish McTurk - on the high street in His opposite the Mosque - can't miss him if you see him!

Hisaronu is a great place to holiday - loads of really lovely friendly locals and other tourists all great and no hassle or lairiness that we saw. Fez bar is a must - great atmosphere and traditional entertainments as well as funny cheesy dancing! Would recommend His to anyone, and can't wait to go back myself.

Breathtaking scenery and friendly locals - what more could you ask for!
