Worth paying all inclusive for the drinks, but not the food. Expect to eat out occasionally.
Best rooms: Ground floor, facing the pool.

Hisaronu, although it has changed dramatically over the past 10 years. I still find it holds a fascination, during the day a busy street; at night it is a delight of shops bars and clubs. Something for everyone. The old favourites are Santana’s, Robin Hood, Big Break and the al fresco cocktail bar. I just cannot praise them enough. There are the unfortunate ‘English’ bits but each to his own. We like to relax on holiday and that’s what we do no pressure no hassle just a great time. Good food and drink nice people and great friends. A short dolmus ride to the beach or to town and always plenty of taxis. Prices are creeping up, but Turkey is still a bargain compared to elsewhere. Oh, I nearly forgot my favourite shop ‘Karlik Jewellery’ (I must be a shareholder by now!)
I just cannot wait to return again next year

Lets make one thing clear (as no one else has bothered to do so on this forum): Hisaronu is not a "pulling" resort. I stayed there in mid-September 2005 - hoping that the end of season deals would attract more single females. No such luck. Nothing but couples and families with non-school age children. The bars may be lively at night - but there aren't any singles in them!!! Great if you are a couple or in groups of couples, but depressing if you holiday alone.

We were torn between the spectacular resort of Oludeniz, with its night life till the early hours and its serenity and beauty during the day where you could chose from a selection of beaches. The incredible Blue Lagoon, crystal clear waters where you can dip in and out of all day as it remains a shallow haven and is cornered off to show the deeper end for those who would like to dive off the floating Raft, or take out a Pedlo, or small Power Boat.
Or you could also chose the Belcekiz Beach (and I've probably spelt that wrong) here you can dip into sparklingly clear waters, where you are surrounded by the most amazing mountains. This reort is full of activities to watch or do. You can go Paragliding, Parachuting, Microlighting, go out for a day trip on a Boat, you can ride the Rings or the Banana being pulled by a Speedboat or even Water Ski and Dive. The list is endless. I loved this area, it was fantastic so beautiful in the day and night.
Hisaronu is where you went to get whatever you wanted, Pubs, Clubs, Piano Bars, Discos, Restaurants, Take-aways, the Market, Entertainment, everything you could need is here, Internet cafes, hiring of Bikes, booking Day trips, where I can recommend you go to Metrolya, they are also based in Oludeniz, but always go to Hisaronu and hopefully Selcuk will be there, he will look after you. One of they're trips that was our favourite was the Jeep Safari an absolutely crazy bunch of people who take you places that are just.........well breathtaking, they're Dalyan Cruise is also fab with Ati and they're trip to the market and then a leisurely boat trip, is relaxing and has great food!
We can't get enough of turkey, this was my second time as I'd been in July and we have only seen a small part of this beautiful island, going back next year definately!!!!

Hisaronu is a lovely place to visit.
Asena village is located within walking distance of the town. We would recommend Carol and Tayfun for all your boat tours and Izzy at the Blue bar downtown.
Will look after you when out on the town.

What can I say apart from we have fell in love with the place.
In the last ten years we have seen it grow and get better and better, and most of the people remember us from year to year looking forward to going back in 2006.

Hisaronu has got a lot more lively over the years but is still a great place. There are some fantastic restaurants like Dragonara, Olive tree, Shine and lemon tree and also some really good bars.
The beach is a short ride on the dolmus. The beach in Olu Deniz is quite pebbaly but if you go to the back of the lagoon to bob's beach that is sandy and absolutely beautiful.

Hisaronu is great lively but not over the top there is no beach you have to take a dolmus to olu deniz which is an event in itself but the beach there is fabulous.
Nightlife is fairly good with plenty of bars and resturants. If you dont like heights then stay away, as the coach journey from the airport was quite ardeuos, and its a constant mountain climb for quite a long while I was frightened stiff as there are very few barriers on the roads.
All in all though the resort is nice people very friendly not as cheap as you think it will be make sure you have a Turkish bath its fantastic and take mostly English money they love it and everything is cheaper in English.
You get some looks when you feed the stray dogs that wander all night but I fed them anyway and they were as friendly as the people.

Hisaronu seems to get more noisy as the years go by but has some excellant restaurants and bars and also some really good clubs.
The nearest beach is at Olu Deniz a short Dolmus ride away, we always go to Bobs beach at the back of the lagoon which is a lovely beach cove that is really good for young children.
