Worth paying all inclusive for the drinks, but not the food. Expect to eat out occasionally.
Best rooms: Ground floor, facing the pool.

Hisaronu has its good bits and its not so great bits!
A contradiction in its self, it is only tourism that has spoilt it!
However, ask the regulars and we all say the same it’s addictive. Once you have been and got the bug you have to return.
Firstly the setting is undoubtedly beautiful, the people are friendly and it has a special feeling. The weather cannot be beaten, you get the best of both worlds being up the side of the mountain there is a breeze when down at the beach you can be suffocated in the height of summer.
I have travelled here as a woman on my own and been with friends and as a couple with my husband (he is also now addicted). I have never felt threaten and have never feared for young adolescence when they have been with us male or female.
Every time we return we meet old friends and make new friends. It has grown from a small village and with tourism this inevitably has bought a sometimes confusing collection of tour operators, hotels, pensions and shops. But ask the locals and the regulars, pick your restaurants, bars shops and hotels by researching, there are still some jewels.
Hisaronu is really special because of its location, which means that you can paraglide or microlight take boat trips snorkle in Oludeniz , go pony treking, visit Saklikent gorge, canoe down the Xanthos, paintball in the pine forests of Kaya Koyu or just walk in the forests and take trips to the classical ruins of Ephesus and Pamukela and don’t forget for those who must shop the market in Fetheye.
Enjoy

The town of Hisaronu was a 5min walk away from the hotel. It had plenty of shops to look around and a weekly market every Monday. A dolmus (bus) would take you to Olen Deniz and Fethiye, all you had to do was flagged one down and hop in. In olen deniz the lagoon was lovely and brillant for kids. They could go and paddle and the water only came upto their knees. Loads of fish to look at and feed as well.

It is set in a nice part of Turkey the sight of the mountains is spectacular.
It is nice and cheap around town. Our best resturants were Lemon tree, Big Brother and Peppinos Pizza place.
We got lots of nice clothes from Trotters independent trading store.
We still hope to go back.

Love Hisaronu just got back , and also went last May too and am sure I will go again in the future.
There are loads of fabulous restaurants , plenty of shops and the nightlife is as lively or quiet as you want it to be. We travelled with children so tended to go for a meal then maybe a couple of drinks, but there were lots of lively bars for people wanting that, we also went to a really great show called TALK OF THE TOWN which we all enjoyed so go there for a good night.
The lovely beach at Olu Deniz is only 5-10 mins away by dolmus, also the town of Fethiye is nearby and it has a huge market on a Tuesday- worth a visit.

The resort of Hisaronu is fab and very clean, great for families, couples, and young singles, plenty of bars shops restaurants, nightclubs and turkish baths.... eating out is very cheap and every meal we ate was given a 10 out of 10. Plenty of buses to the neighbouring resorts and to the Olu Denize beach lagoon which is very clean and safe for children, lovely safe clear waters with little fish. One of our nicest holidays, we will definitely return to this lovely turkish resort.

The resort has plenty of nice bars and restaurants, suitable for all ages. There are some lovely walks. The beach is a small bus ride away and most hotels offer the bus trip free of charge.
