Worth paying all inclusive for the drinks, but not the food. Expect to eat out occasionally.
Best rooms: Ground floor, facing the pool.

Hisaronu really is a really great location for all ages, sleepy by day but comes alive at night with shops still open at 1am, plenty of bars and restaurants (we enjoyed the Grand Boozy, Heads and Tails, Hustlers and the Fez, music and just watching the world go by and Big Break for the music and entertainment).
As it was Autumn these had log fires outside to take away the chill. In the summer, because of it's mountain location it is much cooler than the beach resorts therefore easier to sleep
It is very safe as the main street is closed to traffic at night which is great if you have children with you or have had one too many!
The Village, as it is known locally, is surrounded by pine-clad mountains and has beautiful views although it is not at all remote as there is easy access to the beach at Olu Deniz and the beaches and harbour of Fethiye by regular dolmus (80p).
Sightseeing tours and activities are easily booked through local tour operators (discounts can be had). The jeep safari is a must, taking in all the local beauty spots including the magnificent Saklikent Gorge, Yakapark (water gardens), carpet factory, Tlos (tombs), Xanthois (ruins), Patara (50 mile beach) and a chance to see the Turkish countryside and people (don’t forget to bring a bag of sweets from home to throw to the local children who ALL come out to wave.
If you have never been horse riding before, take this opportunity to ride up through the pine forest to a lovely viewpoint above Olu Deniz or to the “ghost” village of Kayakoy, the horses are very placid and WALK so don’t be afraid! If you fancy a full day’s boat trip around the islands you can’t go wrong with the 12 islands tour booked through Hamish McTurk (www.caroletayfun.com to view), plenty of opportunities to swim and stretch the legs and inclusive of lunch for £6, a bargain!

It was dusty, but ok.
Not much in the way of entertainment, but the restaurants & bars had good food and was cheap. T-bone steak and all the trimmings £5.90. English breakfast £1.99. Chinese all you can eat £5.80. Indian all you can eat £5.90
All food was of good standard.
No beach in Hisanonu, but one in Olu-Deniz (shingle).
Would not visit again.

Hisaronu is quite small in comparison to some other resorts but has everything you need to keep you busy. Plenty of bars, shops, restaurants etc. There nearest beach is a few kms away but worth a dolmus ride. My friend and I can't wait to go again this year.

The resort of Hisaronu is small but has everything you need, as also i visited Marmaris last year and comparing Hisaronu to Marmaris there is a big diference but the resort is similar just on a smaller scale.
The resort entertainment was lively and there are plenty of places to go, but Pine Hills Hotel where we stayed made our holiday.
I would visit the resort again as I would return to the hotel.

The resort is beautiful, every were we went the Turkish people were welcoming and friendly and they adore the children.
In 14 days we ate out everyday and only had 1 bad meal not bad for 14 different restaurants. I recommend the English bar for your breakfast full English and yes proper bacon and sausages, the owner is called Billy excellent bloke.
As for the beaches the lagoon is lovely though very pebbly we used another beach which was fantastic run by a family. The beach is called Sualla excellent value 2 sun loungers and a brolly £3 for the day and a courtesy bus home
