Worth paying all inclusive for the drinks, but not the food. Expect to eat out occasionally.
Best rooms: Ground floor, facing the pool.

For the first time this year we didn't use the main 'public' beach nor the lagoon...we got the free dolmus round to Suara Beach. Briar initially put us onto this one!!! Excellent beach...sand...good amenities...safe swimming for children! Holidaying in Hisaronu has so much to offer...three resorts in one! You have Olu Deniz..beach area with bars and restaurants (check out the Sugar Shack!)...Hisaronu for nightlife (check out Big Break and Hakunna Mattata!)and restaurants (too many to mention..but Tropikkana, Dragonaro, Tango and Robin Hood stand out) and then Fethye...once off the dolmus have a walk through the renovated fish/veg market! You buy your fish and they cook it for you! Excellent! We've never been one's to go back to the same resort twice...Turunc and Kalkan were nice..but no real want to return....however....this was our 6th return to Hisaronu!! Say no more!!!

the resort was great in the evenings for entertainment and the beach was everything you would expect.

Hisaronu is just like a large village, you do not get hassled any worse than you do in say Spain. We felt safe letting our 2 girls, 14 & 12, have a walk round by themselves. There is every eating place you could wish for and all very reasonably priced, especially the two Indian Restaurant. We all loved Hisaronu and will be going back.

The resort was very lively, much bigger than we expected. It took a few days to be brave enough to tell vendors to buzz off! they are very persistent, but usually good fun even when you say no.
There are so many bars and restaurants it was impossible to see them all in two weeks and the food is very good and reasonably cheap. The beaches are lovely although we were not so keen on the main one as it is pebbles.
There are free buses to the smaller beaches on the lagoon which are beautiful. I found the driving a bit hairaising as you are in the mountains, but the locals drive fast and overtake on the bends, but it was worth the white knuckles in the end!
The market was brilliant and there were bargains galore. Hisaronu is clean and safe, we did'nt see any trouble at all, there is a good mix of ages and families with very little in the way of big one sex groups which was good. The resort is mostly run by young turkish men, so watch your daughters! They all seem pretty harmless though and some of the younger girls went for nights out with the staff and just had fun partying!

This was the second time in Olu Deniz, even thou the hotel was'nt the best you can get in Turkey I would recommend the resort to all that just want some where to relax and enjoy the views. They have some clubs which trouble free. It's not a party place and there is a few choices if thats what you want to do.
The beach: Its a nice beach but no sand, so if you want a sandy holiday this is not the place for you.

The best place ever is hisaronu. So good infact we own a villa there! The people and bar staff are all kind and helpfull. There is tons of entertainment for us and the kids! Deffinatly reccomend to visit here. Some good things to do whilst you are here are: Visit the beach, Quad Biking, Boat trip and kaya village! Some good bars are: Alfrescos cocktail bar, Blue cocktail bar, big break and alex's cocktail bar!!!

too much emphasis on eating could do with more entertainment bars no good to beach types although olu deniz beach is a short dolmus ride away

hisaronu has something for everyone an array of resturants to suit everyones taste .discos, bars in abundance and also quieter cafes and bars for those who like the pace a bit slower.for such a busy town hisaronu is amazingly clean. at night time you can get some amazing views of the sun setting behind the mountains.the only setback is that the beach at olu deniz can only be accessed by a 15 minute taxi or dolmus ride but both are fairly inexpensive.once you have been to club orca and enjoyed the complex, scenic mountain range that surrounds you, vibrent nightlife of hisaronu, the fantastic weather, and the sheer beuaty of tuukey, and friendliness of the turkish people you will be counting down the days to your next visit

We stayed in Hisaronu and was only a short walk from the centre of the town. My daughter was married on OLU Denis beach at the Blue lagoon and I cannot think of a nicer location. the beach was very clean and well maintained. The water is as blue asyou can get it and was lovely to swim in. The resort was exceptionally clean and there were plenty of bars, shops and entertainment for young ones. Check out the Turkish bar in Hisaronu run by Ozzy and his partner it is lively with live bands playing Turkish music and the turks all up dancing was special.
We visited Dalyan and swam with the Turtles. We had a mud bath and a hot sulphur bath followed by showers and this was very pleasant. You feel really clean afterwards.
The food is first class in every restuarant we visited and we even had a Roast Chicken (Sunday) lunch.
Plenty of acticities also; Microlights, hang gliding off a 6500ft mountain, jeep safari's and much more. This was a holiday that I feel was worth every penny. I'll be going again.

Also there are the beautiful beaches of Olu Deniz and the Blue Lagoon, which we would recommend everyone, visits, it is ideal for all sun worshippers, and only a 15-minuet taxi drive.
Finally we would recommend you to visit the market there is one in Hisaronu and one is Fethiye, they are fantastic and you can find some real bargains but remember to haggle, and you should try and make the time to visit Saklikent canyon/ gorge it is amazing
