Worth paying all inclusive for the drinks, but not the food. Expect to eat out occasionally.
Best rooms: Ground floor, facing the pool.

Beaches

We didn't stay long enough to see the beach, which is quite a bit away or even find out what other things that the resort had to offer.
We will never visit the resort again.

Hisaronu was, in our opinion, simply dreadful. Full of cheap tacky shops/restaurants and bars with names like McTurks, Zombie Bar etc. It was obviously aimed at 18-30 types. It was impossible to eat in a restaurant there without wearing heavy-duty ear plugs as you were assaulted by 4 or 5 various types of head-banging music coming at you from all directions at eardrum-splitting noise level. It was horrendous.
The holdaymakers seemed to be made up of drunk/spitting/swearing/tattood slobs. Each night the cleaners come out to clear the tons of litter and rubbish these people have dropped in the street. Years ago people paid to go to the circus to see the fat/tattood man/woman. You can see it for free here. Providing you take earplugs.

Hisaronu has grown over the years and continues to do so.
Plenty of good eating places and bars - still fairly cheap. Won't appeal to the young set as there are no clubs or anything like that. Mainly for couples and families but the beach is a good half hour away by dolmus (local minibus which charges about 50p each)

The main street had numerous Bars including music bars,Karaoke - some even provided there own entertainment! The were loads of places to eat - you could choose from turkish, Itailian, Chinese and we even found a small Indian restuarant. There shops sold Jewellery, clothes and the usual holiday trinkets.
You could go and treat yourself to a Turkish Bath & other beauty treatments.
You could catch a bus which would take you down to the beach resort of Oul Deniz with it's fabulous lagoon or to Fetiye where you could take one of the various boat trips on offer or do more shopping.
There were plenty of other activites to do - go on a fun suba dive or maybe just go for a snorkel.
There was a market held on Mondays & the locals had picked up on some of our supermarket slogans to try and catch your attention.

We had a lovely holiday but two weeks of walking up and down the same street got a bit too much. However its clean friendly and there is lots to do. Just too much of the same thing for 14 days.
There are very good boat trips which i would recomend. The food on the boats is lovely. and loads of it. There is a scottish company there that do trips ( Hamish's) go with them
Places to eat fantastic. loads to choose from and not one bad meal.
Most of the restaurants are for eating at. Theres not much in the way of bars that are aimed at just chilling with a Gin and tonic(if you no what i mean)
It lacked this type of bar

The resort hisaronu, is a very lively place! with clubs, restaurents, bars on one road! They provided good entertainment at night with friendly bar staff! The food in hisaronu was great and cheap! You get hassled into going into places but thats just part of the holiday u'd expect that in many places, as for the beach this was a nice place to get to, there was a bus from the hotel that goes to the beach on a certain day. Overall it is a nice place to go.

Cannot say enough about Hisaronu it is great. Plenty for all ages. The people are friendly and not at all pushy like other Turkish resorts and the food is great. Loads of bars and eating places. You just have to give it a try, i did and we are hooked.

Fantastic resort, been there twice now and loved it each time. Great restaurants, with excellent service. Fantastic bar at Heads or Tails, made good friends with Cuynet their DJ, and Bayeu who are both very friendly and hospitable people. Will go again soon. Go to Heads or Tails, you will love it.
