Worth paying all inclusive for the drinks, but not the food. Expect to eat out occasionally. Best rooms: Ground floor, facing the pool.

Hisaronu is a great place, not too quiet and not too loud. If you do visit Hisaronu stay in hotel Pine Valley also go to Daisy May bar it's a great laugh you can make yourself at home the owner is a really nice guy.

Hisaronu is a great place to stay trust me you will have a great time.

Hisaronou was very clean with an abundance of restaurants to suit every taste, I found the area to have a real buzz in the evening and plenty going on. The shopping is pretty good as well. I did find that in the evenings I would get a cab to Olu Deniz which cost a couple of pounds, but do negotiate as the prices vary.

The nearest beach is Olu Deniz which has the blue lagoon there, which is breathtaking. The waters are crystal clear and are like being in the bath. The shoreline at Olu Deniz and Belcekiz Beach is shingle, but the waters are clean and warm.

The quieter resort of Ovacik borders the busier resort of Hisaronu which is nestled below mountains between the town of Fethiye and Olu Deniz.

The 2 resorts are in complete contrast from each other. I have always preferred to stay in Ovacik as it is quieter, therefore ensuring a good nights sleep and also cheaper as it is a good 20 minute walk to the lively areas of Hisaronu. However, easily reached by taxi or Dolmus if you don't fancy the walk!

Ovacik has some lovely, mainly local, restaurants which tend to be quieter. Hisaronu has an abundance of restaurants and bars to choose from! try Bella Mamma's, Festival, Castello's, Olive Tree. Always lovely food and reasonably priced.

The 'Boat bar', Piano bar, Aloha and Zombies are good choices for a drink.

The beaches are mainly at Olu Deniz, again a few to choose from. We tended to stay at the lagoon which was usually peaceful, especially out of high season

Hisaronu and Ovacik are definately places to go for a relaxing but fun holiday which will suit all ages, especially families and couples!

Hisonoru is a village up in the mountains, just a short dolmus ride away from olu-deniz and the town of fethiye.
Their is an abundance of cafes, restaurans and bars in the village , a good variety of shops and mini markets.(be careful when buying tobacco, we were conned with fake stuff)
Hisonoru has lots of travel shops offering various excursions, shop around as the prices do vary alot. The boat trip to butterfly island is excellent. All day on the gulet stopping at different coves with lunch thrown in for a fiver.
Their is no beach in Hisonoru, the nearest beaches are at olu-deniz.Bobs beach is excellent, with just a small charge for the use of a sunbed. The views are out of this world.the sea is very clean, warm and you get the company of little fish and look out for the turtles.
I recommend the hotel, hisonoru(lovely breeze that takes the edge off the heat) and the whole area of the turquoise coast(fethiye is worth a visit, excellent marina, cheap cafes with traditional turkish food,2 courses for 2 for under a fiver)The turkish are very friendly and not as pushy as some people think, and they love to barter, especially in the markets, cheap designer imitations at a fraction of the price then the shops.Take an extra suitcase!

The resort of Hisaronu and Oludeniz is first class. You can get the bus or taxi to Oludeniz to the beach and both ways are very cheap. In Hisaronu there are very nice restaraunts especially The Olive Tree and Castellos. There are also good bars Heads or Tails or Akuna Mattata Karaoke bar.You can also book Paragliding,Scuba Diving,Jeep Safari,Boat Trips and much more ,and I highly recommend paragliding where you jump of a 6,000 ft mountain and land on Oludeniz Beach. The beach itself is excellent and espcially the blue lagoon where the sea is lovely.

The beach at Olu Deniz is fantastic! The lagoon is amazing but can get extremely hot! There was lots to do whatever your mood; a quiet meal in any of the friendly restaurants or a night out on the Raz!!! We will definately visit the resort again and would recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday in picturesque surroundings.

The resort was quiet clean altough a couple of us did get an upset stomach.

There was always entertainment to be seen especially in the time out bar it was great.

The beach in olu deniz was beautiful but very hot and no shade only under the umberellas.

We would definatly visit this resort again.

There is no beach in Hisaronu as it is up a big hill. Down the hill at Olu Deniz (dolmus ride away) there is a beautiful beach and the Blue Lagoon. Brilliant to go paragliding down over Olu Deniz to see the Lagoon!

Hisaronu is nice and relaxed in the day for shopping etc and comes to life at night. Never short on entertainment.
I would recommend the Big Brother restaurant, Heads N Tails Bar (upstairs), Time Out Bar and the Big Break Bar.

Also get a lovely breeze as up near the mountains, both during the day and at night. Saves on the air con!
