Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Icemeler is a very clean place to stay there are plenty of bars and resaurants shops and a very large market the beach is clean and well looked after
Superb country resort and people
We really liked Icmeler as it offered everything a family could wish for. The weather was great but we were quite disappointed by the shingle/pebbley beach. We also got a little tired of the same nightlife shows in every bar that you went into. We didn,t realise how many Micheal Jacksons lived in Turkey! The resort was very clean and the people were lovely and friendly. We shall definitely go back to this lovely place.
icelemar is loud, bar after bar resturant after resturant hasselers in your face all night long a mass of neon lights and all after your money at every oppertunity you only need glance into a shop and shopkeepers are of there seat faster than a greyhound out of the traps
the resort is lovely and apart from the odd hassel from other places there is nothing to be said
I came to this resort for the first time last year and immediately fell in love with it. There is always plenty to do in icmeler and you dont have to look far. I am not a beach person and prefer to sight see, but the beaches looked lovely. I am already looking to return in September and i have only just arrived home on 20/07/2008
Icmeler is a lovely place to stay clean tidy and the people are friendly, the shops and the market are good. nice place to stay if you want a peaceful time, nice place to eat is the Set steak house.
Our hotel was a cut above most, so the rest of the resort in comparison was slightly worn. The entertainment along the main roads consisted mainly of restaurants, desperate to get you to have a meal. Once seated there was usually much singing and dancing done by waiters and/or extra staff, very entertaining. A stroll by the beach brought you to markets and a cheaper way to buy your trips!
We went on many trips and enjoyed them all, the food on them is basic - rice, salad and bbq chicken, the journey to see the turtles and mud baths was the longest and coming back the sea was rough, be warned!
Everything you could want to do on holiday is there.
Obviously this is Turkey so things are not the same as England, we did have slight tummy troubles.
Beach was gritty but the sea is wonderful especially when you are out on a boat.

the resort it self was brill entertainment food and poeple were so friendliy would go again but stay near the town
the resort of icmeler is excellent because we had a crap hotel it has not put us off icmeler we are going back next year ......
