Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

We stayed in icmeler which is very clean and has some beautiful hotels and a great beach. The walk from icmeler to Marmaris is wonderful and the views from the boat taxi on the way back was even better. All bars and restaurants are clean and give excellent value for money. My favourite restaurant was, The Love Boat, beautiful food, wonderful presentation and a very high standard of cleanliness.The beach in icmeler is very nice and clean with plenty of sunbeds to hire .I will be visiting icmeler again soon.
At the man-made beach, you can hire speed boats, pedallo's, and ride a banana, the people on the beach are very friendly and we used all the above and got a very good price. There is also lots of trips available, check around for a good price as they differ a lot.
There is also a aqua park in Icmeler that is worth checking out, they provide all day entertainment for young and old, it is really a fun day out.
There are lots of resturants and cafe bars, most of them provide entertainment after they stop serving food, you will find in most bars the entertainment is the same, Turkish dancing, belly dancers and Micheal Jackson look alikes it is great fun. The turkish evenings all also very nice, they have a excellent buffet with a large varitey of food, the waiters are very pleasant and the entertainment is great.
Icmeler is slightly quieter than Marmaris which is better for the kids, unfortunately the Turkish men are very touchy feely and like kissing the kids, my children could not get used to this, even though they are only being pleasant the children found it offensive.
Overall I thought Icmeler was a nice place, maybe I will go back when the kids are older.

Water sports from the beach include para sailing the norm small boats to scuba trips. Great resort. If you need a bit of quiet try to stay to the back of town away from the beach front. Local law requires music be low after 12:00 in the evening. You will find the place closes down around 2 in the morning.

Icmeler is beautiful - the views are spectacular. Watersports are plentiful and reasonably priced. The town has grown significantly since we last visited four years ago and the bars are noisy in the evening. This is ideal for younger people but families with young children should be careful to ensure that their accommodation is not directly in the town centre. The Marti La Perla is ideally placed not to be affected by noise.
the resort is fantastic. you cant go anywhere without someone wanting to make your stay as good as possible! the food is great there is all sorts to try (even the massive English Breakfasts)and everything is so cheap!!
The resort of Icmeler is absolutley beautiful.

The food in every restaurant was excellent - not one bad meal. Would especially recommend The Cocoa Beach where we ate most lunchtimes - Chicken Donner was great, The Titanic where we had especially enjoyed the Leg of Lamb and Sea Bass baked in salt, The Majestic who had a fantastic Chinease meal offer, the Golden Moon which proved to be the most intimate of our eating places and The Lion (Oscar Steak was absolutely delicious)which we only discovered right at the end of our holiday. You really cannot go wrong with Icmeler. The music stopping at midnight was a definite plus and it was so clean and the people so very friendly. Go with an empty suitcase because the clothes and towels etc are so cheap you will kit yourself out entirely, especially on Wednesday at the market.
Icemeler is a lovely place I am going back again the people are great except the staff in the hotel I last stayed in.
The hotel has a great market outside its front doors along the canal and a selection of good bars and restaurants. However, if you are looking for lots of discos, McDonalds and yobs this is not the place for you. Try marmaris!!
Iclemer is a fantastic place,it feels like home
