Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Resort is spotless. No hassle. If you do get hassle from shopkeepers, restaurants, etc. the police will close them down for a few days. There is no loud noise allowed after midnight or again the police will close the place down. Overall an excellent place to relax, enjoy Turkish food and hospitality at a good price ( half the price of Spain,Greece, Cyprus etc)For the price of 1 holiday in Spain you can afford 2 holidays in Turkey

The town of Icmeler is very clean and tidy and the entertainment at the various bars is very very good and the locals are so friendly.FX studio hair salon is perfect for a shave ,haircut and pedicure.There are very many jewelry shops but I can personally recommend Cartier opposite Taj Mahal down the narrow street for excellent service and fair prices

Icmeler has a very good standard of cleanliness and not much in the way of rubbish lying around. The main part of the town is very active with all types of entertainment and some great restaurants.
Beach is kept very clean but for me personaly there are too many sun beds close together. All in all a great resort.

Resort is fantastic and nightlife is great, But if your looking for the "clubing aspect" this is the wrong resort for you, go 8km down the coast to what i call "Blackpool with the sun". The nightlife suits people over 25 really, as all the noise stops at midnight so you can get to sleep, unlike some places in the world. However, if you wish to party on till the wee small hours.... not a problem but the locals do like to respect the hotels guests ect.
I have never seen any fights or hassle between anyone and have always felt safe, no matter the time of day or night.

Icemeler is a nice resort with lovely views of the surrounding mountains. There are lots of restaurants and shops and at night there is a lively atmosphere with plenty of entertainment in the bars and restaurants. Entertainment is quite repetative with the same acts circulating but still enjoyable.
There is a large market held on a wednesday selling everything from fruit and vegetables to t-shirts and bags which is definately worth a visit.
We didn't visit the beach as it was extremely busy but it did seem to be clean.
We liked the resort but due to the distance from the airport (2-3 hours on coach) we probably won't return.

stayed at the hotel eda in Icmeler.
there was plenty of things to do and see around Icmeler alot quieter than marmaris but just as much fun. All the shops stayed open late and the beach had plenty of outings and trips aswell as boat trips which were excellent

We liked the resort very much, it was clean a bit noisy but full of good nightlife. The beaches were nice too.

Icmeler is a lovely resort and i would recommend it to all. It is quieter than marmaris but there is still a good atmosphere and plenty of restaurants and bars. The resort was very clean.

Icmeler has something for everyone, young and old. Lots of places to eat, many with free entertainment, and plenty of places to visit either by car,dolmus or boat. The beach,although it was mainly shingle was kept very clean as was the whole of Icmeler. The people are so friendly and after the first visit remember you and welcome you like a friend the next time they see you. I highly recomend this resort to everyone, im sure like us you will have a holiday to remember and want to go back time after time.
