Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Icmeler is as lovely as ever and I love the place.
It was our first B&B holiday here and thoroughly enjoyed eating out in the lovely restaurants.
There is a new beach promenade which goes all the way to Marmaris.
The beach is wide with lots of sunbeds at only £1 each.
There is a vast choice of bars and restaurants and these can be quite noisy but the music is turned off at midnight.
There doesnt seem to be any hassle from shop keepers or bars.
Icmeler is a resort with something for all ages in a stunning setting with lovely friendly locals.
Its a pity is closes for the winter!

Icmeler is a lovely old fishing port, quaint and charming. Extremely clean and tidy. Everything is within walking distance and easy to get around (wheelchair friendly) Lots of restaurants, no pubs as such, everywhere sells food and drink, and most with entertainment. Lots of water sports, a bit pricey (jet ski for 15mins was £22) Prices not as cheap as you would expect, and they do vary place to place, so shop around. The beach is medium shingle, not to bad, but no building sand castles. Sun beds on beach are mostly run by sea front hotels or restaurants (some charge), waiter service on beach and both food and drink can be served. The sea water is very salty, but warm, good boyancy, easy to swim in. The beach is clean and well maintained, plenty of sun beds. Water Taxis to Marmaris from jetty (20mins) Daily boat trips (leaving from marina) (recommended "Gentlemans Boat") Also day trips to Rhodes (book through Rep)

This was our third time in Icmeler and definitely won't be the last! It seemed a lot quieter this time though, and quite a few of the bars and restaurants were closing up for the season earlier than usual - maybe the credit crunch is biting.
Weather was superb for October - very hot and sunny, so we spent most of our time on the beach. Tried some different bars and restaurants this time and didn't have a single bad meal in any of them.

Icmeler is a lovely, quiet resort. Very clean with good restaurants and shopping, especially the Wednesday market.The only thing to spoil it was some quite agressive hassle from one or two shops, particularly a jeweller on the main road up to the canal area. However, most were polite and accepted that no means no. This was our second visit and we will be back again.

always find the people of turkey to be the best where customer service comes into play. they always treat everyone the same and could teach a lot of other naionalities a lesson in how to treat people

we were about 10 minutes walk from the centre of icmeler which was no problem for us.nightlife was plentiful in town but also some nice restaurants near hotel one in particular was the love star,they served steak to die for and the staff were lovely.never really went to the beach as we were more than happy with the hotel pool,but we had been told it was nice but slightly shingle.
