Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

if you're looking for a laid back friendly place then this is it. go to the Dream Boys Resteraunt after 10 for the best floor show in Icmeler. The Coco Beach Bar has the best beach waiter I have come across "MESSI" is his name.

The local people were very pleasant and very helpful. The bars and restaurants were all happy to help and the food was lovely.

We had been to the resort previously on a day trip from Mamaras and vowed to go back, which we did. We found the locals to be friendly and accommodating: the restaurants we ate in to be both good value and to serve excellent local dishes, which Carol and I really enjoyed experimenting with.
The beach was excellent and due to the time of year not sardine style packed which allowed us the freedom to choose a different spot each day.
Icemeler is a lovely resort and well worth the visit. :-)

Tha All Inclusive part of the hotel was fantastic. There was always food on and always 2 bars open. There was one at the back of the hotel near the beach was always open in the day time and always one by the pool oopen 24 hours.
The hotel cleanliness was always at a high standerd. there was not one part of the hotel you would see a mess because as soon as there is dirt or muck it has been cleaned up. Very high standerds.
The hotel food wasn't so great. The turkish obviously like their chick and chips. Chicken was the main meet of the day everyday. there wasn't really much change in the food but it was eadable enough to eat.
The hotel location was ok. Near markets and the beach and just down the road which was walkinable in 5 minutes was very good.
The hotel staff are very polite and have a laught with you. They help you in every way shape and form. Very polite and helpful.
Entertainment at night was very poor in the hotel but you do have 5/6 clubs in walkable distance. In the day time there is alot of entertainment on.

The beach was perfect, one end you have to pay for lounger when just along a bit there was free loungers. We went on boat trips that I thought were amazing and value for money. Icemeler is a lovely place and we would definatly go back but would take time and effort to find a decent hotel. This I believe is no mean feat. The only other thing is the hassle you get walking past pubs and resturaunts, but thats just Turkey for you.

The resort of Icmeler I feel is more for family and people who want a quieter place to stay rather than a hussle bussle in your face place like Marmaris, which by the way is easy to get to via a Dolmus(local mini bus)for 1.75 lira and only 5-10 mins away. Though there are 2 nightclubs which are open until the early hours of the morning, in Icmeler all the bars and restaurants have to switch their music off by 12 midnight. The resort is very clean and in all the years I have been visiting there it has always had the same standard of clenliness. It has 2 markets 1 is open every day and the other is the open air Wednesday market. They have a No Hassle policy operating in Icmeler now so no more hassle from bars and restaurants as you pass. The beach is the only thing that didn't get top marks from me only because it is man made sand and to gritty for my liking. I think Icmeler is a great place to stay on holiday.

There are plenty of bars and places to eat, with very good food and service. Standard of beach was excellent, kept very clean. Very pretty resort with fantastic scenery.

WE LOVE ICMELER WE HAVE BEEN THERE 8 TIMES NOW WOULD NOT GO ANY WHERE ELSE
