Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Icmeler is very clean with lots to see and do. The music goes off at midnight so if you are not party animals you can sleep in peace. For the rest of us the bars will serve and entertain you for as long as you like.
There are lots of boat trips on offer which are always great value for money.Or try a visit to Turunc or Marmaris by dolmus or water taxi.
The Beach is always clean. We have been going to a certain part of the beach for the last few years and our "sunbed man" Faik takes wonderful care of us!
We have been to many other Turkish resorts but Icmeler is our favourite.
See you there next year!!

as usual a fantastic place plenty to do beach and beach toys the best well done to all the boys who safely took us parasailing and paragliding see you all next year.

This was my first time in turkey and icemeler did not disappoint. I cant wait to go back next year this time for two weeks. I loved The Dream 3 bells resturaunt where we had my brother in laws 40th, they decorated with balloons and things for him and really looked after us. You have to go on the jeep safari, that must have been my favourite day out fantasic value for money. And the Stella show is absolutely hilarious especially as my husband took the brunt of the jokes.I dont think I have ever been made so welcome anywhere, the locals at every bar, resturaunt, beach etc were fantastic and really looked after my little boy. Roll on August 2008...

Icmeler is lovely although the beach was littered with rubbish and bulldozers digging up parts of the beach, think this was due to it all closing down in 1 weeks time.
We had a few good meals in venice and alins, avoid eileens we found it very expesive and food not that great.
Dream boys good entertainmment although we never ate there.
I'm happy to recommend Icmeler and Turunc is also very cute

Icmeller is a lovely little resort with the canal running through the town. If you want entertainment there are plenty of bars etc., that provide it free of charge. As we had our 3 year old grand-daughter with us we usually spent the nights at the hotel. We went on the Lazy Days boat cruise and it was very good value indeed. We also went to Talk of the Town - it too was a great night out. We were delighted to find that children under 6 go free on these trips and get the same meals etc., as adults. The River Taxi was also very good value.

The resort we stayed in was excellnt. It consisted of many shops and restraunts and the people were always friendly, with a good sense of humor. The resort would suit in my opinion any age as it provided designer make shops, loud bars and quiet restraunts. There was always something to do. The cleanliness of the resort was great and the beach which we visited many times was fnatastic but the sand was coarse and stony. We particulary enjoyed chatting to a freindly guy who haappily provided us with sunbeds which were nice and comfy.
I would definatley visit this resort again along with the Hotel. We are returning in April for a few weeks

the resort is lovely. very beautiful, especcialy at night. great bars, and restaurants, great fun for all the family, as the turks are great people.
