Ovacik is so small that it can't really be called a resort, hence very poor ratings for entertainment and beach etc (it is in the mountains so no beach). The nearest resort is Hisaronu which has a fairly lively night life, shops bars disco's restaurants etc but also no beach. The nearest beach is Olu Deniz which is excellent, clean and spacious with daytime and nighttime interest. Itis famous for its parasailing (jumping of a 2000m mountain tied to a square parachute) Take £65 and have a go one of lifes never to be repeated highlights.

The resort had no beach - nearest beach was Olu Deniz, which is nice. Ovacik is a quiet area, not a lot going on at the moment, but then again when we went it was still fairly early season but can see in a few years that this could change with the amount of new properties being built.

Hisaronu. This is a great town although the hotel is in ovakic it is 10 mins away, its central to feithye and olu deniz (amazing beach). Feithye has a great market (tuesday) but prices can be cheaper in the local market (monday). Lovely breeze also included. Top spot.

This was our 6th visit here and my wife and I always enjoy it. The food is always great and cheap it can be quite noisey at times. But not too bad. My wife and I would recomend this resort to any one.
If you want to know any thing just ask. I think 6 times speakes for itself.

Ovacik is an ideal location because you have Olu Deniz for the beach or Fethiye for shops and site seeing.Also for the night life you have Hisaronu.Then when it's all to much for you just retire to Ovacik and get recharged for the next day :-}
the resort was not what i was exspecting there wasnt much to do for children and the beach was not clean
The resort was situated a fair way from the hotel, but easily accesible by dolmus or taxi. The beaches were lovely. A round of five alcoholic drinks in Hisaronu cost over £17! The cost of food and drink at Dalaman airport was horrendous - 22lira for a big mac meal. Our flight was delayed by two hours so my advice would be take food and drink with you!
