Ovacik not really a resort, just a collection of hotels and villas (finished and many unfinished)ideally situated between the 3 main resorts of Hisaronu (loads of bars but more like Blackpool with heat), Fethiye (very Turkish, bit rough and ready, but I liked it - good restaurants and harbour) and Olu Deniz (great beaches/bars - especially Buzz Bar for chilling out).
Great scenery around Ovakick, high in the mountains, tended to be a bit cooler in the evenings.
Great jeep safari, really recommend it - we went with Express, the guide 'Typhoo' was hilarious, well worth the money - but watch out for the local kids and the buckets of water/hoses!

The resort is georgous, the beach at Olu Deniz is clean and safe. A wide choice of bars resturants, clubs, shops and chemists, everything you need. Very freindly people and a lively atmosphere, yet not to overpowering. We love it and will be back there soon.

Beautiful beaches! Boat trips to 12 different island was an expirence. My daughters and husband got to swim with turtles! Took a day trip to Dalyan (very historical but enjoying, wouldnt recommend taking small children, but both my children enjoyed it).

Enjoyed all the water sports must say vision was a wonderful company to come with as they visit the hotel nearly everyday and book your trips at a low price!Markets are great too!

The hotel is in Ovacik which is about 5-10 minutes away from Hisaronu and about 15 minutes away from Olu Deniz by dolmus. The beach at Olu is excellent - especially the 'Blue Lagoon' part. Hisaronu is busy with shops, bars and restaurants and is good fun at night-time but not too rowdy or full of lager louts. A great place for a family holiday

The resort was very clean and the noise was kept to a minimum after 12 (some kind of law)so if you were in the centre's hotels it would not bother you. The resort bars were mainly karaoke and just music. There is a bar called monkeyslide which is like a wackey warehouse with slides and playarea which is indoors with airconditioning and is supervised so the adults can have a drink without worrying about the kids (the adults sit on a balcony overlooking the town) it costs 10 million lira per child which is £4 but is well worth it.The beach at olu deniz is beautiful but is pebbles not my type of beach.

the resort was very clean not like back home where you find rubbish on every corner. The entertainment from what i could see and hear was fantastic. The beach at Olu deniz was out of this world unfortunately it does extremely hot not suitable for small children as the sand is far to hot to walk on. We visited a beach called bobs beach which was just round the corner. this was heaven as it did pedalos and canoes restaurants and a few shops you could also the paragliders landing on olu deniz beach. We reached this beach via a courtesy bus from our apartment free of charge

The resort is very quiet but clean and tidy.
The are bars to be found in Hisaronu, Olu Deniz and Fethye
Fethye is the liveliest this place is old time Turkey not yet comercialised to much.
The people are loverly and its safe to walk anywhere in the resorts.
The one thing I have noticed over the 5 years I have been comming here is the people they are so friendly to everyone esspecially the kids.

Hisaronu is a bustling little resort with such a wide choice of places to eat, it'd be impossible to ever get bored. From Mexican to Chinese, Indian, English and Turkish, there is genuinely something for everyone.

The main street is pedestrianised at night and a great place to walk and browse. You will get approached at each restaurant by someone asking you if you've eaten, but a polite reply and you're left alone. We were never hassled and the kids were treated so well, they're disappointed we're going somewhere else this year!
