The beach near Ovacik was Olu Deniz which is a shingle beach. The beach to go is the blue lagoon which is a little bit futher than Olu Deniz beach there is a small charge to enter worth every penny this is a must to go and see it .

We actually stayed in Ovacik, but Oludeniz and Hisaronu are only a short bus ride away, Hisaronu is a great place for a night out and includes most eateries of different cultures. it was very clean and the people were very friendly. We were surprised at the fact there was no famous fast food restaurants around, and it made a lovely change. I would reccommed all the trips around the area as you get to see some lovely country. Oludeniz again is a very nice place. We ate at Help bar almost every night and I can recommend the Chicken Satay, it's divine. All in all it's a fantastic place, with nice people, lovely views, great food, fantastic beach, cheap but big meals, and we'll be going back in September, same hotel and same resort.

the resort is kept very clean,this is a place for both young and older people.there is no beech here but the is loads of dolmus to take you to olu deniz, they are very cheap, and come every 5 mins.

Hisaronu has a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops to suit all needs.
The people are very friendly and very willing to help if you need anything.
I would definitely go there again.

we stayed in Ovacik just outside Hisaronu, as we had our disabled son with us we used taxis which were very cheap and offered door to door service unlike the dolmus which is cheaper but you have to walk up or down a steep hill.
Resort entertainment for us was a little limited and our lad wanted to remain at the hotel as he has made many friends.we tried the blue lagoon but was very disappointed cause its not blue.
Next year we will try Olu deniz beach which we were told was much better. The shopping at Hisaronu was better in the evening around 1800 as it was quieter and not so hot, spent a fortune in the gold centre but beware of fake goods i.e tee-shirts and perfumes/aftershaves are worse.
We have booked our next holiday already and can see us returning for many years to come a dream destination.

Superb - stayed in Ovacik but so much to do and see in the area. Went to Fethiye several times also Hisaronu and Olu Deniz. Also did paragliding, jeep safari, boat trips and quad biking. A superb holiday to suit all tastes

The cleanliness of the resort was I guess, as we have never been to Turkey before, similar to other Turkish resort areas. There was often a distinct smell of drains! The elctricity supply is also intermitent Entertainment for the evening was limited to shopping and clubing. Though there is plenty of sight seeing to do in the day. The beach standard in my veiw is unbeatable and the beach at Ovachik is second to none!

the resort was realy lovely lots to do some good restraunts, and bars. lots of bargains, a short dolmus/taxi ride is the beaches which are truly stunning, very friendly people. i will definately be returning to ovacik/hisaranu/oludeniz as other than the hotel we had a lovely holiday.

A typical touristy resort. Loads of bars, restaurants clubs etc. Although we did not really use them as we were all inclusive. But if you want to go B & B or self catering it is much cheaper than greece and spain as they are not in the euro yet. The people are so friendy as well, never been anywhere in the world where the locals are as friendly as this.

I though Ovacik was horrible, everyone wants your money desperately, very aggressive sellers, has put me off Turkey really. Basically they think tourists are loaded and want to rip u off. DOn't buy the perfume that everyone is selling its bad fake when u open the cellophane. Whatever u do, don't eat at the Sun Trap restaurant its awful, made us all ill and the food was expensive and disgusting, really take my word on this. I wish I had been forwarned about that place.
