Room cleaned everyday with fresh bedding and clean towels.
Ashtrays and bins around the hotel cleaned as you put stuff in literally. Same in dining room your plates are moverd away asap.
Drinks at bar are very limited and there are a few flies around this area but we are in a hot country! Please take mozie spary with you as you will get eaten alive if you dont where it on my first night had 12 bites in total.
Food is lovely i really do not know how some people survive at home if they think this was bad! yes it gets alittle repeative but always something on you may not have tried.
Location: it is isolated but if you read the brochure and reviews you know that anyway. Get on a few trips jeep safari highly recommended. The bus into the village is only 1 lira bargain and the market on a sunday is a most i had to buy another suitcase to come home with all my bargains.
Hotel staff were ok not over friendly just ok.
Entertainment is good if you have kids. they work extremely hard to please. there is a pantomine one night for the kids.
I would return to this hotel and would rate it 8/10.

Our children are 15 and 12 and they both want to return next year. We all loved the pool ( especially the slides), restaurant and staff. The hotel rooms were spotless and clean.
As a family we will be returning to this hotel again in the future.

The sun bed lottery was a pain as you had to be at the pool very early. Mind you on a number of occasions we sat next to beds with towels on and nobody arrived till the afternoon. I suggest that you remove towels if you need a bed and take them to the towel hut.
The one down side was that out of our party of 12, seven came down with diarrhoea and vomiting, there did appear to be alot of it about. On asking a rep as we filled in a sickness report they admitted that there was a higher case than usual but did not know the cause. We had reasons of the food, airbourne contamination and that it could be due to the air conditioning and through people not washing their hands sprending the germs.
In regards to the food there was a varied selection however most of the time it was only luke warm.
The resort is brilliant and there is plenty to do but due to our party only spending 3 whole days together (due to illness)over the 2 week break put a bit of a dampener on it.

I can't say enough kind words about the staff at the hotel. Patient, friendly, cheerful - even with long trousers on in 40+ degrees heat- and incredibly hard-working. They were delighted to share their pride in their country and happy to teach us a few simple Turkish words which brought even bigger smiles to their faces as we stumbled over pronouncing them.
We didn't use our rep much apart from transfers but they were visible for queries. I didn't like them slagging off the local traders in the village, especially about booking trips. We went on 2 trips with local firms (at less than 50% of price). We had a fantastic service from Basket Tour Agency, excellent valufor money and they didn't take us to any factories to buy leather, jewellery, turkish delight etc. Yes we went on a jeep safari with this company, the day after the tragic accident, and the drivers were amazing. We had the best day of our holiday, and felt totally safe even though we were bumping across fields, river beds and swimming in glacial mountain streams before wading through sulphur thermal baths. I would not take children younger than 8 on this trip as it is very 'off road' and the water fights (ambush style while stopped) are rather drenching! I'm not a very brave person but I can honestly recommend this or the more relaxed 12 island cruise with lots of snorkelling and swimming opportunities (again not for young kids - water is deep).
Hotel location - fine but beach is disappointing as there is a lovely blue flag beach around the corner but it's a 15 min walk over hot sand to get there and you can't use the sunbeds as they belong to another resort. Most people stay by the pool - not as salty and closer to cold drinks.
Entertainment - fine. They worked very hard and some great quality performances from a lovely team of people. I wasn't a fan of the daytime PA system around the pool and rather unnecessary 'radio' style show at lunch. Just my opinion - i'm sure many younger folk enjoyed it.
Would I visit the hotel again - yes.I'd also definitely have another family Turkish bath - great fun

We arrived around 3am after a short transfer with a helpful turkish first choice rep giving details of the hotel explaining there are two sides - orange and blue - and you can use all facilities on each side YES you can eat in the other sides restaurant just as long as it isnt very busy. We were on the BLUE side (palace) and were shown to our room by a kind bellboy. We soon realised that reception had not provided us with any kind of map of the hotel or information of meal times etc, but we thought we would leave it until the morning to sort this out.
Welcome meeting-
The welcome meeting was at 10.30am in the confrence room. We arrived dot on time expecting to find 2 sofas with a rep and maybe 4 other families as this is only what we are used to. What a shock it was to walk into a huge room with around 100 people sitting on chairs around a stage like we had come to watch a show! The "meeting" started with a song "welcome to the village" ( a spoof of "welcome to the sixties" from the musical hairspray!) we found this all very butlins and were thinking what have we come too! The "meeting" then went on to promote all trips (and of course warning us about booking with other tour operators in the village) kids clubs and basically everything you had to pay for. We felt like we were in a sales pitch not a welcome meeting, and found it all to impersonal.
Room-
We booked a family twin as noone wanted to sleep with anyone else. The family twin consisted of two twin beds (which were had and sooo low to the ground!) and a double sofa bed. The room was split in two by sliding doors, TV showed english channels, Air con worked fine , Bathroom had bath and shower, Mini bar contained 2 bottles of water on arrival but was not refilled (as in other hotels in turkey we have been to) the room was meant to be for four but we found it too be VERY CRAMPED even for three also there are NO DRAWS with very little wardrobe space too!! We actually moved rooms on the second day as our first room overlooked BUILDING WORK NEXT DOOR (they are building a Hilton golf next door) with lorries and diggers going up and down making lots of noise 8am-12 midnight! We complained about this (were told that some had recieved letters before arriving but this didnt apply to us) Guest relations lady was extreamly kind and helpful to us and got us a room on the other side of the corridor overlooking another block of rooms but this wasnt a problem -anything is better than building work.
OVERALL WE FOUND THE ROOMS AND BALCONY VERY SMALL BUT SPENT SO LITTLE TIME IN THERE IT WASNT A HUGE PROBLEM.
Grounds/Pools-
The 17 pools were really great there was a pool for everyone- we spent our first day by one of 3 small pools by the jacuzzi suites which were VERY quite and so relaxing but then spent the rest of the holiday around the jacuzzi pool which was not heaving with people but not completly away from all the action in the main pool. The main pool was far too noisy and busy for us and couldnt really understand how anyone could sit and relax near it! The slides on the blue side were rubbish (you have to push yourself along!), we only ventured to the orange side once to use their slides which were much better! The grounds were so well maintained and clean and the walkway to the beach was lovely.
OVERALL THE GROUNDS ARE LOVELY AND THERE ARE VERY QUIET POOLS AND LOUD AND INVOLVED POOLS SO SOMEWHERE FOR EVERYONE.
Sunbeds-
To get a sunbed around the jacuzzi pool we got up around 630am then went back to bed. We did his for around 3 days but one morning walked from breakfast around 9am ready for a day on the sunbed to find someone else sitting on our sunbed!! they told us there were no towels on the beds and we soon found the staff had gone round and removed towels and they were in a heap by the pool towel hut! luckily we found some sunbeds on a patch of grass but felt so angry we had botherd to get up and we had wasted our time. This removing of the towels was now a daily thing so most people would put towels on beds aroung 6am and sit with them so they wouldnt remove towels (fortunatly we found some friends who were happy to get up at that time and reserve us some beds) We dont like the whole ritual but you get dragged along with it as there are not enough sunbeds to go around rep told us this herself!!
OVERALL YOU WILL HAVE TO SIT WITH YOUR BEDS OR TOWELS WILL BE REMOVED!
Beach-
The beach was nothing to shout about as it was mainly a huge stretch of grey boiling sand with a scattering of sunbeds and a huge shelf into the sea. Nothing can be done to the beach as it is a turtle protected. For these reasons we never used the beach or went into the sea. Watersports are availiable on the beach but we didnt do any of these so cannot comment.
OVERALL BEACH PRETTY POOR AND NOT SAFE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN.
Staff-
We found all the staff in the hotel to be very kind and helpful. Especially the lovely guest relations lady. But watch out in the restaurant they will take your plate whilst your still eating from it!
Animation team/Entertainment-
Evening entertainment worked on a weekly basis and was very different depending on which side you went to. ORANGE side consisted of mainly miming and singing as there a few foreigners (although they claim the village is all english) also orange side is very audience UNinvolved if you sing and join in you will get funny looks! Although the BLUE side was very different there were mainly audience participating shows which did seem very butlins but either smile and get over it or just sulk as there is no escaping the whole butlins feel. The animation team were very good and ADAM MOSS was the BEST and funniest of them all. The adam moss experience is not to be missed and is definitley the best show!
Kids Clubs-
My son (10) loves drama and Id hoped he would go to the stageschool on offer but all he wanted to do was go in the pool. Although I did persuade him to go to the kids club once, he played rounders and because it was such a big group didnt get a go of the batting. He was bored and decided it wasnt for him. We did meet many parents with children who loved the clubs on offer and we did see the swim kids every day and the instructors were AMAZING with the children.
OVERALL WE DIDNT HAVE MUCH OF AN EXPERIENCE WITH THE KIDS CLUBS BUT WHAT WE SAW OF SWIM KIDS LOOKED GREAT!
Food-
The food was really a let down. Breakfast was the best meal of the day with a wide selection (although fresh orange juice had to be paid for) Lunch was pretty much the same as tea and mainly consisted of english foods such as pie and casserole (im not one of those people who has come on a holiday to eat pie and casserole!) There were only really 3 different choices everyday and you had to que for ages for food to be cooked (badly). One night I had smoked trout only to find it was still frozen inside! We mainly survived on bread and fruit as this was the only thng that was decent! Snack bar had burgers, chips, chicken nuggets, spag bol (which looked so runny) fruit, salad, pizza and jacket potatoes. Also there were tents around the complexe where women would make pancackes which were yummy although we didnt discover this until the last day! Oh and ICE CREAM is only served between 130 and 3 by the kids club so by the time you have got back to your sunbed it will be melted.
OVERALL THE FOOD WAS VERY POOR AND NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED.
A la carte restaurants-
We went to all 3 a la cartes
Turkish- Very nice our favourite but not for the fussy eater!
Italian- Pretty rubbish DONT have the lasagne its served in an ash tray and is topped with an inch of cheese below which is 2 pasta layers!
Asian- (chinease) Very nice but no rice with your sweet and sour/ beef in hoi sin sauce - strange BEST desserts in the asian I could have eaten both x3!!
To go to the restaurants you had to book in the morning and also choose what you wanted as your main. We didnt try the steakhouse as this was extra but heard it was well worth the money.
OVERALL DO TRY THE A LA CARTES SUCH A WELCOME CHANGE.
Sarigerme town/Market-
We went to Sarigerme market on Sunday. Sarigerme is very small rather like a shanty town only consists of one road with a few shops. Market was very small and like all markets in Turkey hot and in your face. Some stalls were shouting no hassel which was nice but others would shout the usual "genuine fakes" and sayings they have although we did find some shouting phrases not suitable for young ears and i dont think they realise what they are saying. We only bought some nintendo ds games (115 in 1!) but found there were not many watch stalls mostly just t-shirts and bags.
Trips-
We went on one first choice 12 island boat trip. The trip was a nice getaway from the hotel with 4 stops to jump off and swim in the sea. The food and drink was all inclusive although the lunch was pretty poor, soggy chips salad bread and pasta. The sights were nice and we saw many other interesting millionaires boats. We were going to go on other trips but never got round to it! We booked our trip with first choice but many other booked with Sarigerme Tours in the village (first choice will tell you time and time again not to book with them) who offered the same trips at discount rates, speaking to people around 85% of people who booked trip booked with Sarigerme Tours and all said they were great and they had such fun but during our stay there was a VERY SERIOUS accident where two people from the hotel actually died on one of the trips with Sarigerme Tours. This was a freak acciedent and nothing like this had ever happend before so everyone was very shoked and saddened.
Illness-
We have been to Turkey 3 years on the run now and have never been ill. The week before we arrived at this hotel there was an epidemic of sickness and diarrhea wich became so bad people were hospitalised and put on drips! On the second day my daughter got an ear infection. When we spoke to the rep asking were the nearest chemist was to by antibiotics over the counter we were told it was a 40min cab ride away!! She told us to see the doctor in the hotel, this is what we did and they were good removed all the wax and infection then gave us ear drops tables and nurofen oh yes and charged us

On the second day of holidays my mum was the first to take ill...then a couple of days later my son ...then me..my youngest son didnt seem to get as ill but he lived on bowls of rice and chips...but he did develop a nasty skin infection which had to be treated by the dr..we were all ill the full 2 weeks with stomach cramps and the trotts.. everyone i spoke too was suffering from the same thing...on my return home i have since found out that the complex was on red alert when we arrived..
I was eaten alive with mozzie bites in one week had 37 of them..As for the ear infections my children didnt get one but i made sure there ears were dried evey time they got out of pool and also used swim ear...there were hundreds of children though with cotton wool stuffed in an ear..
If you like a holiday were you have to get up about 6.30 to go and get a sunbed and the then be squashed in like sardines then the holiday village is for you ...i would never go back even if it was free
