Sarigerme consists of one street of shops basically - on a Sunday the market comes to town and you get your normal "cheaper than asda" shouts. However it is stated in the brochure that there's nothing around and only a small village to visit so if you are one of these people who likes to go out and about then its not for you, but again First Choice arent hiding this it is perfectly clear in the brochure.

Personally I dont think you need to leave the complex theres so much to do there. You split your time up with a couple of trips other than that you should stay happy.

We didnt have any bother with mozzies although we did thicken ourselves with the cream after reading previous reports on this site - so basically take precautions and you should be fine.

All in all I cant wait to go back - keep an open mind when you visit and you will have a fab time

Sarigerme is a nice town, quite a few shops, restuarants, bank ( well van with a satellite dish on top) although behind the shops it does look like a scene from the texas chansaw massacre.

Houses with all kinds on the front lawn and chickens roam as cats do in England. Seriousley though, its quaint and some good bargains to be had.

I recommend the mud baths and family cruise, the beach party is a must also.....enjoy your hols , I loved it.

The resort that we stayed in was very empty and lifeless. i would definately not go here again. There is alot of tied up animals etc which isnt very pleasant for children!

The market is great, watch out for the people selling jewellery though as they will grab you and start putting jewellery on you! Just say no to them and they should leave off!

There is not an ATM machine in the hotel but there is one at the market which is a 20 minute walk from the hotel but a 5 minute drive in a taxi!

Be careful when renting a car however, i suggest you get the insurance as the roads are very dangerous up high in mountains and twisty roads with no speed bumps or red lines etc, the drivers are very aggresive and fast aswell!

I would not go to this resort again simply because of its lack of people and its emptyness!

I feel sure in the next couple of years there will be a lot of development in this area. At the moment it is quiet but has all the possabilities to be great. We were told a golf course and new Hotels are coming next year.
There was water sports available on the beach.

The resort was pretty good although the road left a . little to be disired, We were told this was being sorted. People in Serigerme were very friendly.
Serigerme has a few bars they all worth a visit and the food in the village is great, the shops are great to they enjoy a good haggle with the price. You can pick up a bargain or two, especially at the sunday market.
The beach is excellent, clean, with paragliding , banana boat rides, speed boat rides etc....
I would visit Serigerme again , they are building a golfing hotel over the next few years....

The resort is clean. It is a large resort. You do not get any information in your room where anything is.No map no leaflets no information. You have to seek and find. The pool area looks nice. Not enough sunbed mattresses or towels for everyone. Attitude from resort staff is thats the way it is. No lifeguards are around the pool area. The slides are dangerous. There will be a serious accident on this site, but hey as long as first choice make money thats all that counts. The entertainment is ok.Daytime activities by pool and nightime. The beach will be lovely once they clean it up and take off the glass. We didnt bother with the kids club as you have to do it in sessions of one and half hours only.By the time you sit down you would have to get up again as many parents complained. The football soccer club is good however this costs 60 pounds for eight hours, more expensive than England where i pay 45 pounds for 4 days.this resort is all about whose going to pay?

We found Sarigerme to be a clean, quiet little town. Not much there really except some shops and a couple of bars and restaurants.

Can't really comment on the resort entertainment as we were all inclusive and didn't go into any bars in Sarigerme, however some of the shop staff were quite funny!

The beaches are clean, and contrary to what other people have said, we saw no broken glass or litter anywhere!

Would definately stay here again, maybe in a few years, beause you can tell it is going to be a big place one day!

after reading reports sarigerme was actually larger than expected, although not a lot there the shopkeepers were friendly but not overbearing, the walk from the pegasus palace was about 15-20 mins and quite pleasant , it was nice to stay somewhere that was not commercialised but i'm sure it will look like blackpool in 10 years - shame really!
