very little to be negative about.
The only glitch in the well organised trip was the busy queue at breakfast with the hot and cold queues forming a single line which meant queing twice in a quite busy narrow area.

we were unsure of what to expect. We needn't have worried from start to finish everything was excellent. Check in was simple and within 15 minutes of arriving at the dockside we were on board and being shown to our cabin on deck 6. The cabin was larger than we expected and perfectly adequate for the time we spent in it. Every area on the Dream was kept spotless by the housekeeping staff. Hygiene was obviously important with alcohol hand gels available throughout the ship. The quality and choice of food was excellent in all the restaurants. The ship's staff were brilliant. They were all extremely helpful and friendly. The entertainment staff were great. They put on a very entertaining show every evening in the theatre and kept everyone entertained throughout the day. We had a great holiday on the Dream and would definitely book another holiday with Thomson cruises

All the staff were brilliant! They were always there to help with anything. Such nice people!
We loved the German Captain, with his little homilies about the previous ships he had sailed in! He was a real gent!
You just could not fault the entertainment group on board! These young people were full of energy and gave really professional shows! Particularly the one with excerpts of the London Musical Shows!
In the smaller bars, the air of sophistication was provided by a quartet and a trio of great musicians/singers.
We may have been lucky, but I could not fault the Thomson arrangements-Flight, transfers etc both ways!

No complaints at all. Air con all ok. Toilets all ok.
Water all ok.
Was very worried after seeing all complaints but we did not have one at all.
Entertainment very much same thing every night, very well done but could do with some more head liner acts like we had seen last year on the Celebration.
The steel band only played about 30 songs should learn some new ones..
Food very good but still didn't try the speciality restaurant £20 is a bit much when its not a famous named chief doing the menu which didn't change.
Waiters very good and entertaining too.

The staff cannot do enough for you, especially our cabin maid, Desi.
Food in the Lido resturant was excellent with lots of different choices and 24 hr availability. The entertainment team, especially in the Broadway Lounge were the best we have ever had.
Our cabin was always clean and tidy, (yes it rattled a bit at night when at sea but you got used to it). From time to time you could smell diesel in the corridors but not in the cabin itself.
The one night the toilet system broke down but was fixed within an hour, probably because somebody stuck something down it that they shouldn't have.
I must admit we went on the cruise with some concerns after reading some of the reviews but for our first cruise, we had a fabulous time and will certainly be going again.
Well done Thomson, your cruises are not stuffy with class distinctions, you know how to entertain and when to leave people to do their own thing if they want to. Oh and a fabulous itinery as well.

service was excellent and the food in all restaurants was of a high standard. Every part of the ship was kept very clean and hygenic. The entertainment, although excellent was suitable for older audiences. There was not much on the ship for children or teenagers.
Shops on board were ok, not much variety. We did have a problem with the photoshop, however. Beware of purchasing the official cruise DVD's as we found it did not cover our particular cruise. Although the dates of our cruise were correct, the DVD's contained mainly library footage of earlier trips and if on a two week cruise, repeated coverage of certain events was shown such as the cocktail demonstration and formal dining experience etc. Coverage of the excusions was very limited and predominently library footage. We have taken this up with Thomson and are at present trying to obtain a refund of the DVD's.
