Oil prices are down but the price increases by £34 and less luggage. I think a lot of people will wait for Easyjet and Jet 2 to release their flights, although I've booked mine already.

Tracy ours were £190 return per person, Manchester to Dalaman, end of July for 17 Nights. 7 tickets booked in total for us and our friends.
This years were £156 each, last year £174, the previous three years I paid over £220 each for a ticket with Flyjet who are no more.

i booked my last friday with A1travel last friday, glad i did it was £207 including 20kg luggage, aegean is on 15Kg this year
Received invoice online last night for our flights July 2010 and this is what it says:
Early Booking Baggage:
"For 2010 Aegean flights will be charging hold baggage. However, as an added benefit for booking early you willl have 15kg of hold baggage at no extra charge if you book BEFORE 1st July". Dont know what the charge will be after that!!!

2010 flights for 2 people from Bristol to Dalaman seem to be £100 more expensive than I paid with them last year (for flghts this year).
Yes I have found that too, and Ive just looked at the dates I was going to book and I can get flights for the same time this year at oly £30 more per person. I've got the booking screen open in front of me but the significant price increase (up by a third!) and reduced luggage allowance is currently stopping me from confirming the booking. I didn't mind them having my money for 15 months before I actually get the flight when it seemed cheap, but now I'm strongly tempted to leave it...

we ve booked flights separtely for the last 6/7 years but with £195 return and there 5 of us think we ll go for a package next year. paying £1000 upfront just doesnt seem like a good deal. Gutted its not a bit cheaper though as we would have booked.
There IS a substantial increase in the cost of the flights for 2010. It will be interesting to watch and see how much they creep up!
Think many people will sit tight hoping to get a better deal. Personally we just prefer to be booked and its one thing less to worry about.

Some people will of course sit tight, but Ive not paid for this years holidays yet or been and am looking at quite a big outlay. I would have got these flights if they had offered the level of saving that they had when purchased before, but they dont, so I dont mind them having the money now this early at all, but its just not that big a saving . . .and I never worry about the hols or booking I enjoy searching and finding and then booking
Tried to book for June next year cheapest i can get is £145 per person from Glasgow, can get a package not that much dearer. some dates in June they want £280 per person

I was so looking forward to booking this morning that I got up a 6.30 and I was so disapointed. Up on price, lower on luggage. As previously said I didn't mind them having my £1000 (5 of us) for 15 months if it meant a big saving but I think I will leave it in the bank and take a gamble that easy jet or jet 2 will be cheaper when they release their prices. Di. 
You people are lucky even getting to Book at least you have choice, Just like last year Ageanflights have let me down once again, They only allow you to book from Belfast in July and the full price £197, Strange that they do this, So once again I will not book with them, It's cheaper with a late deal.
