I have booked mine for £190 each - cant really spare the cash at the moment due to this years forthcoming trip but i know where I want to stay and it seems worth it to be able to get what I want.

My family of 5 will work out at about £1800 inc transfers and 2 bed central apartment and thats at peak time in the school holidays and I wont get that from a tour operator! - in fact before aegean entered the market a year or two ago I used to pay this for a DIY - so the price compares with what I paid in 2005!

they are from Manchester, I decided I would rather pay a little more for for my flights and get 20kg than be stung at the airport for some extortionate price

I flew out of Cardiff in summer last year and had paid £70.00 per person for 2 weeks July/August, and looked for Cardiff again today as although its a little further for me, I actually found the airport easier than some, but that explains why there wasn't any then. But then, neither was I going to pay the £195 from Bristol or Birmingham. They certainly arent the great offer they were :(

We just paid £150 each for 2 weeks in JUne 2010 but still a good price even though last year we paid £90 each for same flights and year before we paid £70 each but altogether for 6 off us in a 5 star hotel all inclusive in june for 2 weeks it is £2200 thats flights and hotel :tongue travel agents quoted me £4000 so im well pleased x

We have booked August for 17 nights for £185 each which is a very good price. Also paid £155 each in mid June which is ok.I just have a funny feeling that when Easy Jet release theirs the prices will initially be a lot lower.Time will tell but it is always the same. You pay your money and take the chance. On the other hand it just might be that a few bargain prices have been had. ;)

Looking at the prices some people are quoting I really can't understand why Bristol is (comparatively) more expensive for dates that are out of the school holidays. And it's closer to Turkey than most of the other airports!

I think Aegean may still be a good deal if you are comparing it to the cost of peak season holidays, but I'm still not convinced to book this time.

Cheers.

I though about waiting until Easyjet released there flights but I would rather know now what I am spending and get the dates I want, plus I don't want to let our friends down by cancelling because Easyjet pull the route and the flights that are left are too expensive.

We have found flights for £150 each for two of us, from brum to bodrum. A small saving on this years from thomson but not amazing. Really not sure if to book!

I booked flights (in the early hours of this morning) from Bristol to Dalaman from 24th - 31st July 2010. 4 people = £724. Just checked again & are now £800.

Also booked (this evening) Bristol to Dalaman from 29th May - 5th June 2010. 4 people = £764. Just checked again & are now £932.

They have already gone up, so my advice is "don't dither." I did last year & now got nothing planned for this summer :( :really :whoops
