Yes Milly it worked on Aol browser thanks, its 27 euros one way for 1-4 people to Albufeira. Sorry not replied sooner but had problems with my internet connections today and only just got back online half an hour ago.

I used followmetours last week they were 30 minutes late collecting us from the airport, they charged 40euro for 6 people, in Albufeira it was advertised by another company for 25euro, I had already booked followmetours for our return to the airport they were there at the exact time, I would recommend them!

Maybe the 25 euros advertisment was for one of those companies who pick people up from different locations, just like a coach thing. I cant think of anyone who advertises 25 euros for 6 people (gotta be a catch). My hubby once used Paradise tours to pick him up from our house to go back to the airport, they were late initially and then started picking other people up in Vilamoura who wernt stood outside their hotel at the allocated time. Panic mode set in, he ended up having a go at the driver regards his flight time from Faro, hence, bombing it down the 125 to get him to the airport on time, and he only just made it, within a few minutes to check in closing the desk.Not an experience he would wish to go through again.Be very wary of these cheap advertised rates.

The name of the other company I don't know, I can describe the directions to you if you want. I was pleased enough with followmetours, even though they were late picking us up at the airport. As I said they were on time for the home transfare, thank you for recommending them Mandy.

It's ok hun, it doesn't matter about the other firm as I would need to book it from this end - never mind.
I'm so pleased that your return journey was ok. (That's always the worry isn't it, incase you are late for your flight.)

Please can someone tell me the cost of a private transfer from the airport to Praia da Luz? We have been quoted 85 Euros, but unsure if this is average or not.

Yes, we used them last December and have them booked again for August. Slight hiccup in that, on their e-mail confirmation the return pick up time was shown as the actual flight time, but I e-mailed them to correct it and received a reply almost immediately.
Driver was at Faro to meet us and at the hotel on time for the return leg; vehicles clean and modern and drivers friendly and polite.

Algarve-365.com (run by ex-pats) have a price of €70 each way for a transfer of upto 4 people if that's any help.

I can see ResortHoppa have come in for some bad press from a couple of people on this thread so thought I should say I have used them 4 times in the Algarve and there hasnt been any problems or delays.
All the drivers have been really friendly and punctual, and not badly priced for the shared shuttle which only seats 8 so its not going round the houses dropping people off and picking up.
Just used them again last week and everything was great as usual.
Thought I needed to put another view forward.
