thanks now edited
I have booked with Alan Sutton also. Reliable and price agreed beforehand.
Lagos itself as good as expected but very busy with both overseas tourists and Portuguese holidaymakers. Definitely going back but not in the first 2 weeks in August again.
Was just about to book my transfers for September with the firm I recommended, but am quite willing to save 30 euros on the round trip! Could you please confirm the website and e-mai address. Thanks in anticipation.
P.S. Glad you enjoyed Lagos and happy they're having a busy season- the last two years haven't been too good for them.
The e-mail and website still seem to be having problems but the details are http://www.easygo-holidays.pt or e-mail at transfers@easygo-holidays.pt. The phone nunber is 00351 282 353 050 of a John Santos on mobile no 00351963827773. Coming back late last night they were still there waiting with their board for several people so try the numbers if the other options still don't work. Give it a go as it was a really good service and hopefully will be for you. Enjoy your holiday

Many thanks; will give them a try. As regards enjoying my holiday, there's no doubt about it.

Hi Lagosbound. I have just tried the website for easygoholidays and also the email and neither of them are working. The email address is not known and as come back to me. Would be obliged if you can double check it for me as I may be interested in booking with them for some relatives Regards Jayjan
I've been trying them for a couple of weeks now without success, and have now given up and arranged transfers elsewhere
Sorry you could'nt contact easygo. You could try to send an e-mail to their sister company algarve-autos.co.uk who can pass on your request. Might be worth a try as it was a good service.

Thanks all the same, but we fly out on Tuesday and have had to fix up alternative transfers. Pity because, by my reckoning, the 30 euros saving would have paid for an extra dozen pints of Sagres !!
http://www.faroairporttransfer.com it is from a company called Polotur.

All the posts in this section appear to be about taxis and private transfers.
Is there a rail link at the airport or at least any bus companies operating?
From Faro itself, is it possible to travel by public transport to other parts of the region?
Any help at all is most welcome ..........Easyjet have just started flights from Newcastle and I am keen to book to Faro but my cash is very limited.
We had a very comfortable, safe, trip from and back to Faro airport and at a very reasonable cost. I've no qualms whatsoever of firing off another Email to Alan when we go next year. Dependable and friendly.
