Discussions regarding holidays in Cyprus
Hi

Has anyone stayed in the standard 1 bedroom apartments. I just wondered what they are like. I dont really see the point in spending loads of extra money for fancy rooms. Myself and my family spend so little time in the room and I am on holiday to get away from playstations, dvds etc and the gaming world world so I definately wouldnt upgrade for these As long as the apartments are CLEAN!!!!!I would prefer to spend the extra on other things on the holiday. Can anyone help? Also, are pool towels included for everyone.

Thanks

Hi Scoobydoo,
Pool towels can be obtained from the pool bar or reception. They keep changing it around, just ask at reception and they will point you in the right direction. They are included for everyone and you can change them when ever you want.
As for the standard one bed apartment you should have no issues. The rooms are cleaned everyday.
Have a good time

I'll post some pictures of the Fishing Village and the older side of the Aliathon tomorrow.
Should give everyone who has been memories and those yet to go an idea of what to expect.

Hi again, everything more or less sorted. There were no deluxe apartments available, and as we were the complete opposite end of the complex to my family and friends, which would have possibly been a little difficult for us as we get ready the day of the wedding, we are now in a kids suite or den in the Fishing Village. Does anyone know much about these? I have been told by FC that they have kitchen facilities etc but it doesnt state it in the brochure i have. I know we have a playstation which is not of interest to me or the girls, however hubby to be (the big kid) is quite happy. I hope they are ok I really need this break now :sun2

williams, i saw a earlier post that says the kids den has a bedroom which is turned into the den, and the living room is a bedroom, then theres the kitchen, bathroom etc.... think i read it right look back a couple of pages its either on 18 or 19 think it might be page 19.
I was looking at the kids den as they do look really nice but my kids arent old enough for any of that so i stayed with what i have got!
either way i am sure it is going to be great and u will have a wonderful time!!

i am looking forward to seeing the new pics!
if anyone manages to get any pics of the apartments inside it would be much appreciated :)

ok i am going mad it wasnt this site but trip advisor that i saw the review about the kids suite and it says
"The rest of the family had booked a kids suite - we had thought it would be a 2 bed apartment, turned out to be a one bed luxury apartment, with the bedroom converted into a kids den - the adults had a bed in what was our sittingroom"
Reply
Yes I read that too, it was from Tripadvisor and the kids suite accommodation is all in one room and it sounds like a very large and luxurious room from the posting in tripadvisor.

Hi - thanks to whoever posted the e-mail address of the hotel - I contacted them directly re the kids suite and received the following reply - they were really helpful ( I was a bit concerned about lack of sitting area/sofa and dining table as we are self catering with 2 young children):-

Thank you for your email and your kind interest in our Holiday Village. Please note that the Kids suites are 1 bedroom apartments with a theme-decorated children's bedroom with twin beds, satellite TV with playstation2, and a double bed and armchairs in the living room area. In addition, all the Kids Suites have a large bathroom, CD player, Hifi, Radio System, Satellite TV, pool towels, bath ropes, individually controlled A/C and Heating, fully equipped open plan kitchen area with kettle, toaster, 2 electric hobs, microwave, fridge as well as living room / dinning room area. There is also a safety deposit box (at a small charge), a hairdryer and large balconies or terraces with garden furniture's and sun beds.

If anyone else goes and stays in one of these rooms can you post a photo or description of living area? Judging by the great reviews so far on the rest of the resort we can't wait to go :) Hope that everyone has a great time this summer.

To Mouse12 - please could you confirm what you had in your living area and size of kids suite apt? Did you have dining table? seating area? etc. Thanks (sorry to be a pain), although hotel confirmed some of the details always wary of the "official line"...........
