Hi,
Can anyone tell me if the evening entertainment is based in an ampitheatre which seems to be the norm in the HV's or whether its more of an informal chairs & tables round a stage kind of thing.

i would love to see pics of the inside of the apartments too, were staying a deluxe 1 bed i havent seen any photos at all yet of the deluxe apartments.
Hi all, just wanted to say that the photos look fab and i'm just gutted that we aren't going this year
the photos look superb, thanks for posting -
The questions that gizzy1 asked have been answered - I wasn't ignoring you, honest

Scoobydo - we stayed in the 'old part' (as I now call it) - Aegeon Village - in a superior one bedroom appartment which was big enough for the two of us.
The Aliathon was open (so my in-law's tell me) in 1992 - this year is the only year they have missed going since it opened - that's how we were introduced to it and have been going ever since

The family who own it are so nice - it was a member of this family who designed the Fishing Village!
I'm sure I have some other pics of inside the appartments (Aegeon Village). If I do, I will post them.

getting excited now thanks to you all who have been

I've posted a few pics of the Fishing Village appartments on page 21 if you have a look under my user name on one of my posts.
The delux appartments ARE in the Fishing Village.
Forgive me for asking - are you going all inclusive, half board, b&b or self catering? The reason why I'm asking is we've just come back from the Aliathon (our 10th visit) and if you like, I can recommend some fab places to eat

hi maggie, we are going al inclusive but we do like to eat out now and again beacuse it can get a bit repetitive for two weeks and we don't like being stuck in 1 place. any recommendations of good restaurants would be greatfully recieved by us.
Sorry, but I'm not the person you were think of. I've never been to Cyprus before and i am now really looking forward to going out to the Aliathon next summer, after looking at your pics and also the fact you said you've been there quite a few times now. I don't suppose you have seen any weddings taking place at the Aliathon. I'm sure everything will be fine, but it's always nice to get some first hand knowledge from others. We are going self catering next year, so would appreciate any advice that you have.
Thanks Ann_G xx

Hi everyone, just wondering who is going in oct this year
Thanks Maggie! Can't wait 2 go! We are all inclusive, but we will probably eat out a couple of times, so any recommendations would be gr8!Your pictures look lovely!I don't suppose anyone has pictures of actually inside the new apartments?
At the Aliathon-
PocoLoco a great mexican
Taste of India a great indian
Aegeon restaurant
There is an Italian (which i'm embarassed to say i cannot remember the name of!)

THE ABOVE ARE NOT PART OF THE ALL INCLUSIVE DEAL.
For those of you going AI - you eat at the Entertainment centre.
There is a Greek restaurant which is located under the Adults only bar, as well as this, there is a Mexican within the entertainment centre. For those of you going AI, you can eat in each of these ONCE A WEEK but you have to book!
A 5 minute walk to the 'triangle' you'll find LOADS of restaurants, the ones we go to are:
Cavallini - a fantastic Italian but it's essential to book a table here - it's always busy (closed Sundays).
Sunbow/Brahms&Liszt/Pelican - all within the triangle.
There is a fantastic Chinese in the harbour it's called CHLOE'S - again, it's essential to book to be sure you'll get a table.
There is a (ahem) great Fish and Chip restaurant called MOULIA - it's behind McDonalds. Now this place can rival some of our chippy's
