We got back last night (Sunday 23rd) after a two week all inclusive staying in one of the family duplex rooms in the fishing village. One thing I will say is that there have been a few teething problems but they are being fixed daily.
Here are a couple of tips for people going in the near future:
1. Take some beach shoes when in the fishing village pool as the bottom is quite rough and can cause some discomfort, especially for the little ones.
2. For those with blonde hair, take the holiday swim shampoo as there seemed to be a green tint to blond hair and white swimwear.
The green hair sounds a bit worrying!
Was this one of the 'teething problems' being rectified?
You didnt say in your post whether you enjoyed the holiday or not!

More reviews added to tripadviser folks
Yes we did enjoy ourselves. The In 2 Action team were excellent and kept the children entertained (if they are happy then we are happy !). The E3 team gave 110% everyday/night and there is also an adult bar should you choose not to watch the entertainment.

Is the evening entertainment now outside? Also, when you look at the photos of the lighthouse you can see chairs/tables around the bottom. Is this the restaurant or bar.

The lighthouse is the daytime bar for drinks and sandwiches. Next to it is the daytime snackbar for hot dogs and burgers etc (can use the main restaurant at lunch time as well). The daytime snack bar then becomes the Greek restaurant at night and upstairs is an adults only bar with a nice balacony area. There were also more outside seats and tables being put out as we left. As the kids club run and evening session from 9pm - 11pm it made a nice change some nights to use the adults only bar and have waiter service.
For anyone who has recently returned - was there much of a problem with mozzies and can anyone recommend any trips?
There were a few mossies but nothing to compare with Turkey. Jungle Formula seemed to work fine.
We went out on the half day boat trip. It was a British crew and great fun for the kids as they were all equiped with water pistols and water bombs and had a good time. Fresh fruit was available and we stopped for an hour for swim up the coast (but did not go ashore). I would not recommend to anyone that suffers from sea sickness and there were a few green around the gills ! You can sunbathe on the netting at the front of the boat but do remember your sun cream.
GILL G - Hello! About 8 posts down from this forum you'll find a section that relates to mozzies.
Good morning, we are flying out to the Aliathon tomorrow and wondered if anyone knows if there's an ATM is the vicinity. Can't decide whether or not to get currency out before I go or wait and use hubby's Nationwide card when we get there.
I know too late for you Julie but wanted to make the point if anybody was interested that there is a really good credit card for using overseas (0% charges and good exchange rate) for anyone that is interest look on the martin lewis website.
There is a bank just outside the Aliathon (next door to the Supermarket)
Hope this helps. Have a great time !
Thanks so much...that's really helped!!! Cheers!!
Hi Julie, hope you have a fab holiday Remember to try and get some pics of the inside of the apartments.
Think I might ask if there's any upgrades available when I get there, Rang First Choice earlier this week and they said there weren't any available as it was fully booked there. Still worth a try when I get there though I think, the worst they will say is no.
Leaving at 2pm today so not long now

It's a one bed superior we've booked, so would be good to see your pics when you get back. As they say "if you don't ask, you don't get"

Cheers for the reply gina m, i was wondering though, in october to these kind of holiday villages, do you still get the mad rush for sunbeds in the morning and long queues( having to get there half an hour before to make sure your kid got in!!!)for the kids clubs - as this was the case when we went to hv viva a few years ago in july and its put us off a bit to travelling during the six week holiday. We like our hols to be more chilled than spending half of it queing for something or somewhere. If it is more chilled were thinking of booking for next sept/oct back to the aliathon.
