In Beni at present. Want to go to Ritch Bitch tonight. Anyone been this season & is there food available. A rough guide to price of admission & meal please. Will check back in later. Thanx all

Shirley .. not sure how busy the venue may be at this time of year, but they do advise pre-booking. You may be best giving them a call if you hope to visit tonight. Contact details, admission prices, etc can be found on their website:

No food available at Rich Bitch I'm afraid, plenty of eating opportunities around there though. Its 5€ each admission, its usually best to book but in the current ecconomic climate i think there will be seats available on the night, plus theres always a fair few "No shows" when people who have booked dont turn up. Make sure you are first in line...get there by 9pm, if the doors not open then, you can get a drink in the Pig and Whistle straight opposite. Anyone who books ahead has to claim their seats by 9.30 or they are re-sold. Not been this year, but have been twice previously, its a very good show, but can get very hot in there. The show does,nt start till 10.30 and you cant get drinks during the performance...so stock up before it starts, there is a break half way through though for you to get drinks in then. Unfortunately, one of the performers (Lullabelle) died a few months back and i'm not sure who has replaced her/him, but i'm sure it will still be a good show, Jordan Rivers (Gary) is very good indeed! Well worth seeing...enjoy!

Helen and I just want to let you all know that prices of food and drink out here are very competitive. Loads of places selling beer 1 euro -pint and we´ve been indulging in Brandy and Lemonade (about 4/5 measures in a tall glass) for 2.5 euros :cheers Can´t fault it. Also recommending Michael´s restaurant in the Old Town where we had Menu El Dia last night for 10 euros each (4 courses and loads of choices). Bye for now, the sun´s calling us ;)

There were 2 small Welsh bars open, not far from each other - one called Taff's the other Bourbon. Panchos still looks far from being ready. I would thoroughly recommend Michael's restaurant in the Old Town, a huge choice for 10 Euros. Haggars was a small bar with a nice atmosphere, again in the Old Town. We enjoyed a great night at the Western Saloon, watching tributes to Bay City Rollers & the Beatles. You'll also have a great night at Morgan's tavern - a boat shaped club, which is much bigger inside than its outward appearance suggests - don't miss the Take That tribute there - one of the best shows I've seen for a while. The Clansman has some good cabaret & Karaoke.

I see what you're all saying about Panchos being a long way from opening! Had a look at it yesterday before we left and there were a couple of workmen laying a 'couple' of bricks!!! Does look like it could be a while before it's finished! They're definitely giving it a total refurb!
Hopefully it'll be up and running by the summer season, I have decided that I have to go back and check their work!!!
I noticed that a lot of the acts have moved round to different bars. We normally go in to Rockerfellas but we weren't so keen on the acts they had on this time and noticed it was pretty empty every time we walked past.
Did enjoy Morgans though, especially Sister Act. Drinks were pretty reasonable too, 3.20 for local spirit and mixer. Thought I should try a few, it would have been rude not too! :cheers

Yes it is now a lap dancing club. We were all set to go there one night, and when we enquired from one of the door ladies of the White Horse, she just laughed and said the men would probably enjoy - she wasn't sure about us :rofl

Riki Stevens is at the UK Cabaret bar (Presidente) his act is just the same as last time but The X factor with Little Fred just cracks me up. :rofl

Albi Senior is on at Rockerfellers I think, saw him advertised near there.

Asa Elliot from Sandras, and also in the We Will Rock You tribute, which has now relocated to Morgans Tavern, is trying his luck at the X-Factor auditions in Manchester, so good luck Asa!!

Asa didn't make it unfortunately, he got through the first stage but not the second, and is back in Beni now, appearing at Sandra's and the We Will Rock You show at Morgans Tavern!
