Any recommendations for a nice place to grab some lunch and a drink? Ideally, a nice outside area in a suntrap. I'm not asking much am I? :rofl

just to pass the odd hour i enjoy the benidorm rock on the front for a late breakfast or during the day for a spot of lunch. popular music from the canny scot on the organ or later the spanish guitarist.

Hi Johnny m I think you may mean Beach Rock, about 20 yards down from one of my favourites Caiman Baby.

Hi, as we're going in early April, it would be nice to make the most of any sunshine. Preferably, a sheltered spot out of the sea breeze. Thanks

The village pub is a good suntrap, the drinks and food are very reasonable too. ;)

The Beach Rock bar was closed when we walked past today. It looked like a lot of the fittings had been ripped out, but there was no work going on. There were no signs to say if or when it was opening again.

just up from the indoor market heading for beni palace I think it is called the geordie bar but there are a few other bars there as well. The wife and myself used to call there and read the papers, its well a sun trap and they have the occasional musician on

Hi Pat,
Yes that's the one, I know that hey used to close on a Tuesday but when we were last there they said they had the bar up for sale but were struggling to find a buyer. It's a shame as we had been going in there for 5 years.
Thanks

The Plaza part of the Vincents chain of bars has a nice outside suntrap.
The drinks and food are reasonable
It is located just up from the Burger King at the bottom end of the Levanti beach
Open every day from 11am.

Shirley, if your after late afternoon sun head for the Coach and Horses,. It`s at the begining of Poniente next to the Mar Bau hotel. We always have a drink here it gets the last of the sun and if you stay long enough it`s a great place to see the sun set. Reasonable priced drinks as well.

Talking of views there is a bar at the end of Levante, it used to be attached to the Aquarium. It is on the road towards St James` church. The veiw is to die for as it has the full view of Levante and very large windows to see it through.

hello does anyone know if the pubs around the lavante club area have acts on in the beginning of march :cheers

hello can anyone tell me how much a pint of beer is now as the euro so poor :cheers

We were in Benidorm at the beginning
of Feb and lots of bars still had pints of local beer at 1 euro.
In some bars my husband paid 1.70, and cabaret bars £3.50
so they were much the same as last year, it was my Spirit and Mixer which seemed dear
but I dont like the cheap "two for one" deals!
