£40 sounds a bit dear! According to their website

http://www.benidorm-palace.com/

the price should be 40 or 49 euros depending on which menu you select and includes a bottle of wine for each two persons. (Damned if I can find an english version  )

Hi There,

I went last week, its 40 euros for adults and 20 for children, kids can wear shorts but adults must wear jeans or trousers. You go in at 8:30pm and a singer is on the main show starts at 09:45,you dont leave until 1:30 in the morning. If i was going again i dont think i would pay for the food, soup to start the cob was like concrete, kids get spag bol, then you get salmon and prawns, then steak and veg my steak was very rare and i like it well done, but i suppose they cant ask everyone. You get ice cream to finish. drinks 1 bottle of wine, small bottle of bubbly,2 bottles of coke for my son. After that we payed for drinks, 1 glass of sangria, 1 bottle of corona and a coke was 7:50 euros which i didnt think was bad. the show is really good there is a lot of topless in the second part of the show but it is not sexual in any way. I think it ia about 34 euros without the food and you can go in a bit later it ia a nice room and the toliets are spotless.

I know where Benidorm Palace is. I am going to Rio Park Hotel, can you tell where this is in relation to Benidorm Palace please?

Its a good 15 minute walk from where you are i think, i was staying in the Levante Club so it was only 2 mins away, but we had to get a taxi to centre of resort and beach all week. This never cost us more than 4 euros.

Joolz, it's miles from Benidorm Palace to the Rio Park. If you know the corner where Cafe Benidorm is (surely everyone does) then go one block towards the old town and then two blocks (maybe three) uphill away from the beach and you are at the Rio Park.

Mmm far out. Thanks.

The Rio Park is pretty central to the new town, obviously being one of the oldest hotels they got to pick a good spot! It's Benidorm Palace that is out "in the sticks"

If you look at google Earth the Rio Park has the large pool at:
38 32 26.95 N 0 07 03.39 W

if you read the numbers along the bottom of the map.

The Palace is labelled at 38 32 40.14 N 0 06 09.14 W

So you can see where they are in relation to each other.

does anybody know the price of drinks in benidorm palace
we are going on sat and has cost us 100 euros just to go for 4 of us

Hi Helen ... drinks used to be quite expensive, but now I think they are comparable with prices at most 3* and 4* hotels. Your first drink is included in the price of the ticket.

I have merged your post with this existing Benidorm Palace 4 page thread, which may provide you with a little more info. Hope you enjoy the show !

Hi Helen, I was there in March and seem to recall that a bottle of house wine was about 10 euros and soft drinks weren't too overpriced.

If you are having the meal, just a word of warning :!:

If you are asked at the end of your meal if you want coffee, be prepared to pay extra, it's about 2 euros. It is not included in the price of your meal and a lot of people don't realise until it's too late.

Hope you have a great time, if the show is still "Passion" it's spectacular, I'm sure you'll enjoy it, you'll have to let us know.

Sue :)

I am visiting the Benidrorm Palace in March for a birthday treat for my wife. I need a hotel to stay for the night and cannot establish the area well enough on the net to find one. I seem to remember that there is quite a nice looking hotel almost opposite the Palace, but I can't remember the name. Can anyone help with either its name or another hotel near at hand?
I will be grateful for any help.

Across the road from Benidorm Palace, you have Hotel Deloix Aqua Center and Hotel Mediterraneo Benidorm. Also within a reasonable distance on the same side of the road, you have Hotels Flamingo Oasis, Levante Club and Melia Benidorm.
