I've just got some good prices from http://www.goingplaces.co.uk for Sharm next April, so they might be worth looking at. it was mainly panorama holidays. Also http://www.portlanddirect.co.uk can be competative but they only have a limited number of hotels so it depends on if your fixed on which hotel you want. Longwood holidays are Egypt specialists and they have a website as well.

There are new hotels being built all the time in Sharm so there are always deals.I want to go to either the Coral sea or the Conrad in November but I am waiting until about 4 weeks before as last year the web prices for both these hotels were amazing.£697 for 2 people for 2 weeks AI!.That was for Manchester departures,Gatwick was a little dearer.

If you want a particular hotel i would book asap to avoid disappointment.

If however you know Egypt and the area where you want to be, but dont mind which hotel, you may get a better price with teletext. For instance some friends we met in Sharm paid £1000 less than us 2 weeks before departure. I was peeved to say the least

May i make a suggestion to you......A1 does restrict you to the hotel a lot of the time, and sometimes the food is pipping hot. But there are an array of restaurants all open air or in air-condioning rooms to eat fabulous food. Plus eating out is so cheap, you will defiantly pay more for all inclusive.

If however you do decide to stick with A1.....booking it at the hotel will most proberly be a cheaper option and you can sample the food on a day to day basis instead of committing yourself to 2 weeks. Especially as the food is repeated on the 2nd week.
Its a great night out sampling all the restaurants and huntng around the shops.

We stayed at the Sonesta Beach Resort which does do A1, but we had just breakfast and have been there twice now, and we shall keep going back, fabulous, anyway, you walk along a promenade for 20 mins to the centre of Sharm passing beach restaurants and shops and trips to book. Then you hit the mall and restaurants etc.

Some of the all inclusive are in remote areas, if you want a quiet holiday then thats great. But you will require a cab to get you into Sharm, or else there isnt that much to do, apart from listening to the hotel entertainment.

Where you you choose....i am sure you will all have a great time :D
