I am so saddened by this news  Such a lovely caring person, who would help anyone in any way.

I was very lucky to know her and even though we weren't in touch of late I shall miss her greatly.

I have lit a little candle for you Helen, may you be at peace now.

I can't claim to know Helen but her posts show her to have been a kind and caring person. I know that she certainly got a lot of support from people during her illness and was obviously well loved. My thoughts are with her family and friends tonight

Although I didn't really know Helen well, I've just read through some of her posts and her willingness to help and advise people, as well as her enthusiasm for and love of Cyprus, comes across loud and clear.

Thinking of Helen's family and friends.

What a sad loss.

I had the pleasure of knowing Helen through 2 websites and when i was visiting cyprus again last year, we exchanged some pm's.

Tonight there is another bright star shining in the sky, and 1 that i have no doubt will be shining over cyprus.

I'll raise my glass of ouzo to you next time i go helen.

Sleep in peace.

Although I can't say that I knew Helen personally, I can remember her postings here on HT and elswhere on the net.

Back in the days that we had our quiz here, Helen was a pretty good player ending up in the top ten on a regular basis.

My thoughts are with Helens' family and friends here at HT and on the other forum that she contributed to.

RIP Helen.

For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We'll tak a cup of kindness yet,
For auld lang syne!

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And auld lang syne?

And surely ye'll be your pint-stowp,
And surely I'll be mine,
And we'll tak a cup o kindness yet,
For auld lang syne!

We twa hae run about the braes,
And pou'd the gowans fine,
But we've wander'd monie a weary fit,
Sin auld lang syne.

We twa hae paidl'd in the burn
Frae morning sun till dine,
But seas between us braid hae roar'd
Sin auld lang syne.

And there's a hand my trusty fiere,
And gie's a hand o thine,
And we'll tak a right guid-willie waught,
For auld lang syne.

I'm truly in shock, (thanks Kath for the pm).

I've been very worried about Helen as I had sent a few messages and received no reply, but never expected this news. My last contact from her was on Christmas Eve when she had let me know she had been out and in hospital since we had met up in Limassol in September. Such was Helen tho with her huge smiles and personality, that, true to form, she was apologising to me for not getting in touch sooner!

It's just not fair, and my heart and my prayers are with her family.

God Bless, Helen. Be at peace.
