They sent me a comfirmation through email. I was wondering if that just ends up being all I need to check inn with is the printed piece of paper with my details on what they sent me?

If it is Danny, there should be a reference on it to being an 'E Ticket'.
Just keep all your paperwork from them. Do they have a phone number you can ring ?

Yes that's all you need, the reference number on the confirmation.
However we have flown several times with bmi, Monarch and FlyGlobespan and only once been asked for a copy of the confirmation at check in. All they usually need is your name from your passport.

There is a booking ref on the email what they sent me ive printed it off.. I understand now that they will have my details of the system aswell when I check inn

Yes Danny just the print out thats your ticket,i booked with Emirates and thats all i needed.Also see if you can check in on line 24 hours before your flight,you will not have to wait in line with all the others you can just go to another check in specially for on line check ins you can aslo choose your seat.Have a good time
Ive had a look about thomson online check inn and like Kath said I dont think they do it as I can't find anything about it. Aslong as I got my seats pre booked im happy
