Suemog i am old just ask my boys. I am 37 and dont think i will like the music much but will go for the lazers as you have said.
Triflebum brilliant username by the way thanks for taking the time for that review. I cant wait to go and getting more excited than the kids lol.
You will have a ball......................honest.
37!!!! Gordon Bennett, you are a baby....watch some of the 70 somethings shake their stuff, amazing and such good fun.
Enjoy and believe, there is lots to enjoy, also, the hotel shop, which opens by 8 each morning gets the same day papers in by 10 am, so always plenty of up to date news, they get the Sun, Mirror, Express, Mail and Times. Hairdresser is also very good, and does an amazing Turkish Shave for the men, it was always packed, and they charged something like 5 euros for a shave, massage and hot towel.................value eh?
The little shops across the road sell the same as the hotel, only it is cheaper..so you could have a wander round.
There is a post office across the road too, hidden away behind the little corner restaurant directly opposite the Villas, so you are short of nothing you need.
Take care
Think i might get hubby to treat himself to a Turkish shave, i have heard alot of people saying that their hubby's dont even take their razors cos they just get it done there. I have also heard great things about the Turkish baths in Bordrum, are they easy to find and did you go for one? If so what did you think? Do you know what it consists of ? And how much? So many questions lol.
Thanks again
Oh i just thought of something, I think there is a doctor on site and this may seem like a stupid question but if any of us need to see the doctor while there is it free and if not what is the payment made by is it TL? Thanks
yes there is a doctor on site but don't know any charges. The only encounter we had was when someone we met came down
the water slides head first (a grown up dad I must add) and cracked his head on the bottom. Warn your husband not to do that - deep enough for the kids but not for big boys and there is no warning notice (or wasn't then) They had to clear the pool for a while to clean it........Doctor had him taken to hospital and brought back - apparently he was very good.
Ha suemog hubby wont go near the pool he cant swim, it takes me all my time to get him to sit at the side and dip his feet in to cool down lol. I am however glad you said not to do that because it would have been me who did it Mind you my two are both taller than me now, i am only 5.1 but i still wont take the chance. That poor man Painful!
Hi all Got back a couple of weeks ago and we all had a fantastic time! If i can help anyone out please ask. Thanks to everyone who helped me
Never mind - i'm off the Fuerteventura on Saturday and I know that hotel is covered !! Good talking to ya - Sue
hi, how long is the transfer??
I am going here next May, the reviews sound FAB!! 322 sleeps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for all the helpful info - I'm looking to go here early October for a week with my girlfriend. Looks absolutely incredible but still haven't booked yet.
Any idea where i may be able to find the best deal for this? Looking on their website it seems like all of the rooms in October may be gone but I can still find lots of 3rd party sites offering deals.
Also, one site I stumbled across seems about 30% cheaper than the rest however it says it is 'All inclusive silver' in the smallish print. Any idea how this might affect our trip?
Thanks so much
Charlie
I booked with Direct Holidays (T.Cook sister Co.) they were the cheapest agent when I booked. If you book direct with hotel you may be able to get a good deal for the private villas which look and sound amazing.
We stayed here last June - if you have a look at the web site you will see the other ones they do - some of them are with Thomsons. We are going to try a different one next year - probably the Belek one.........
We went to the complex last year & had a fantastic time & are going again later this year.
We have booked for October 2012 & have been told we will be in a `standard superior garden view all inclusive `silver` accomodation.
Nobody at the Travel agent knows what the term `silver` refers to.
Does anybody out there know or can throw any light on it ??

Last May 2011 we took a taxi & it took about 25 mins. & cost 90 TL. (now about £34 ) each way.
We thought this was well worth it.
There is a taxi rank - yellow cabs. immediately outside the airport to the left.
Also there is a taxi rank straight outside the Voyage complex for your return journey.

The only thing I can think of with the silver bands are the ones at the deluxe pool accommodation.
These are situated near the beach and have the slippers......... We had white bands and were just
in the smaller black and white rooms and I think the gold bands were across the road at the private
ones...not sure on this but sure someone will shed light on it - let us know when you find out as I
will be after this is we go back !!
Sue
Thanks for your reply RE:- `silver`. We went there last year & never heard the word mentioned.
We have booked again for Oct. 2012.
I have contacted my travel agent - Coop travel - & they have told me they will get back to me regarding this query. They should know because it is their wording on the website.
I will contact you with the reply when I receive it.
Best regards:- songbird.
Regarding the query `silver` we discussed the other day. I have now had a reply from coop travel with whom we have booked for this year. I have attached it below:-
Thank you for your enquiry.
There are 2 suppliers that do this hotel, the one supplier just classes the all inclusive as a silver grade.
Below are the details of what is included with the supplier that is offering the all inclusive silver"¦

Night buffet midnight-1am. Sandwiches and soup 1am-7am. "¢ Drinks: Unlimited locally produced alcoholic drinks and soft drinks 10am-midnight. "¢ Activities: Darts, boccia, aerobics, aqua aerobics, step aerobics, beach volleyball, water polo, basketball, mini football, fitness centre, and sauna. "¢ Children: Hotel-run kids' club (4-12 years), playground, kids' buffet, mini disco, cots and highchairs. "¢ Entertainment: Regular day and evening entertainment.
I am going to reply to them regarding the confusion with the word `silver` songbird589
I would mention it too as we had all that just booking normally.
Think the drinks are more than local ones though as I asked for a
whisky and coke and got Chivers Regal !!

We heard stories last year of people booking a standard room & getting the deluxe area accomodation.
We booked a standard twin for the wife & myself & got a standard family room with extras such as bathrobes, slippers & the mini bar had spirits with Chivas as you mentioned previously & bowls of fruit. When we saw the maid I gave her a tip at the start of the holiday (10TL) she was delighted & replenished our fruit & spirits (always a good idea to tip at the start of your holiday) that way they look after you.
Best regards:- songbird
