of course....its only for medicinal purposes...we dont want hypothermia hahahaaaa
is there anyone using the forum who is in goa at the moment? if im right then i gather from this thread that bbc weather reports for goa have not been accurate..mind you im not sure how accurate the newspaper reports in goa are either (i was there for over 14 months once and the weather in the goa paper never changed from 29!)...it has never ocurred to me to pack anything warm and iv always managed with the fleece and jeans i wear on the plane should there be a cooler turn in the evenings(very rare in my experience).we arent going until the 11 feb so am hoping normal heat and humidity will be resumed.
Just returned from 2 weeks in Candolim. Don't worry, it's not that cold. It's certainly been more than hot enough for me during the day (albeit with some strong winds blowing onto the beach to cool things down a little), and although I understand from the locals that it is a little cooler than they are used to at nighttime, we still had the fan whirring round well into the small hours and I didn't bother with any bedsheets or blankets when sleeping.
thanks for that.. was getting a bit worried..guess im just getting greedy for some wall to wall sunshine..little wonder really living in england with the terrible summer we had and nothing but grey skies since. thinking about it, a little dip in temperature at night is no bad thing.easy to forget jusy how oppresive goan heat can get sometimes.
Anybody in Goa could you tell me what are the current temperatures day & night - is it still cold?
Here you go Rav
you could always look at the top of the forum for the weather banner- a lot quicker

Slightly off topic, if it is cooler in the evenings, do you think there will be less mozzies about?
Saggy
yes..good point! and that cant be a bad thing can it? (lack of mosis)
Nights are a little cool but at least your'e not sweating.
Drove home lastnight from a friends and it was cold on the motorbike
i'm bracing myself for next week - going home on tuesday
having a great time
wish you were here
Paul
I find the cooler nights more comfortable to sleep, no fan needed, [ I havn't discarded T-shirt yet], it still beats the UK weather,
Keep Warm,
Lin
