Since the weather should be good in the Med now, is there any place to sunbathe on the Melody. I need at least a two hour stretch out on a sun lounger each day. (Hope my doctor is not reading this!) I like to sit/lie and watch the sea go by and I love the feeling as the ship moves along.

Hello to Peter A, Terry A, Jiffy and Willfie who are on the Melody on the 20th June. Please, please will somebody say hello to me, there is only Anne 1 who is speaking to me. I have sent private messages but nobody returns them.
Can you check your inbox please, I have sent you a pm!
Myles - Thanks for uploading photo's of the Melody 09/05 trip .
(in my dreams)
No, No bulb yet Big over who pays for it, "I did not mean to break it, it just happened" says number 1 (just like her). just like her Mum.
Coven are after me, I did not tell them I was going on the Canel trip, therefor number 1 & 2 were upset
I went into the local doss house, as it seems I not only brused my ribs, as I was told, by quack (not duck type) but 2 of them were broken and 1 was near to my lungs, also I had not sprained by ankle, but fractured it. I thought it were a bit sore. The only bit (Donald - the quack) got right was my wrist - sprained - it would be if I see him again.
Sorry to go on - Sorry Luci
:bow :tut :tut
Canels are dangeriuos places, what daft sod leaves a lump of BLACK painted iron in tow path where anyone can trip over it in the dark, especilly after a ding dong or three
With the slab I have I don't think I'll be swimming for week or two, not that I can ant way, but the grand children think I can , well it's only 3 foot deep where they go.
Must go now, Thank you for all the messages and emails,
I do with Sincerity apolojise to those I offended, but I do have a habit of shouting off at the mouth, but at least people know what I think and where I stand, or lay at present
ding dong time, at least no reason for getting up, (and I'm of duty with the Vac & iron for a long time, the longer the better)
Byeeeeeee for now
Love you all

my tickets have come for the Opera, 4th June
I have been out this evening so couldn't post earlier. So relieved they are here. It really feels like it is going to happen now I have sat and scrutinised every last bit of paper in the MSC blue cruise wallet I am just a tad excited - but trying to contain myself
Elaine xx
to who ever wanted to know about tipping on opera we didnt have envelopes we just got info to tip if we thought fit so we clubbed together on our table and i left money in my cabin it was entirely optional.
all of you who are off soon have a wonderful time and come back with plenty of good things to tell us .
carol
It really brings the cruise to life and I can just picture myself on board already! (only 10 days to go!).
Just one question...... the linedancers - (sorry to mention them yet again!), to quote their words:
"every night we danced the night away on the open deck till 1 or 2 am.'"
(Apparently the Captain came and had a look but declined to join them!)
Did any event on your cruise take place on the deck in the evening? I am wondering if we lose any of the entertainment you have mentioned.
There is also a description of 2 fancy dress nights but as nobody has mentioned this I assume this is just for them too.

Would it not be better to stay with HT to support everyone until they have their cruise. Your input as ever would be much appreciated.
Dizzy
One bin laden with used face flannels.
I'm glad you've tracked him down, have you told the authorities which cabin he's hiding in & do "used face flannels" count as weapons of mass destruction?
We are all thinking of you Phil and do wish you a speedy recovery. Housework is definitely banned for you for at least the next few weeks - make the coven look after you - why do they think we bother to have children if not to look after us in times of need.
ElaineM, I'm so pleased you are now all set and I'm sure you will have a fabulous time. All our good wishes go with you.
I am not getting e-mail alerts for the main thread any more even though it is a 'marked topic'. Any advice please?
Phil,
I hope you are soon recovered.

:sun :sun
Sat on the balcony with out a care in the world today - with a heaven of sun shine and a gorgious fantastic breakfast eh !!
Fantastic thick slabs (not sliced) of white death, (from Herberts) and 6, yes 6 slices of nice coller bacon,
( It seems it's only available north of B/ham, where most good food comes from)
Along with a big pot of Assam Ah if they do breakfasts like this on the Oprea, the Captain can do what he likes, do they do fried eggs and bacon for breakfast ? Anyone know ?
:pele :pele :pele :pele :pele :pele
This is what number 2 will be doing today with the vacume, She'll be here at 10, I've piled up the ironing as well (Idle hands etc...) number 1 pinched my vacume a few weeks ago, so I'm hoping to be able to claim the dyson number 2 has - with a bit of luck and 'Oh you don't want you to strain yourself carrying that all the way home again love, just leave it here' perhaps the charm may work but I don't hold out much hope .- If, I can get the doss house to leave my slab on until I go on my cruise in Oct. It's about time the coven did something for me, but empty my bank account, any one else have just girls - are they all money grabbers, my lot make Maggie Thatcher seem like harmless.
Any way must dash - got to open the windows and get rid of the smell of all the frying etc.. (going to get back in bed and play the hopeles bed riden case, who needs attention) bewarned those on the cruise for 10 Oct I need plenty of modicodling
Byyeeee for now, as soon as the witch has gone I'll get back on line, I suppose I could get her to move the machine into the bedroom, if she's got time and energy left, or perhaps I could give her that job tomorrow, pity no-H.Ts lives close by - they could bring round their ironing.

I still haven't managed to track down the photos but I'll persevere and no doubt I'll find them one day.

Hi Maureen
I brought this to Van's attention yesterday as I'd noticed several people mentioning the same thing. He is looking into it.
Can you check at the bottom left of the page that the topic is still "Watched"? Some people have been reporting that this is disappearing of its own accord.

Madsu - no, I only got the 3rd green ticket after a long row, and then the 4th after another long row as I refused to queue again and again while everybody else was getting onto the coaches. I can't help what you read into some of the other comments I posted.
Dizzy - thanks for your suggestion, but if you read my posts you'll see why I have to put myself first this time.
Fay
However, I have all my confirmation papers, air tickets etc already! I am not going until 10th September 2005.
Julie - do you have yours?? I've not seen it yet but Mum did say something about Gatwick - thought we were going from Heathrow!! Minor point.
Hope this gives everyone a little more hope.
Elaine
What has happened to the long list of people who were allocated the cruise from Marseilles on 4th June?Nobody has posted so I presume they are not going. Have they been allocated something else or has R*** forgotten them like they've forgotten me.
what happened - not going until September and tickets already
hope mine come as quick as that (but i won't hold my breath)
