are you allowed to give out the number you used?
Glad every thing is sorted for you.
Hope you have a great time.
Don't know! It's not a secret number......it's printed on their stationery if that's any help! I would be tempted just to try any of the numbers you are aware of. I was not put on hold so I don't think they can be too busy at the moment.
Maybe I just struck lucky but it may be worth a go.

If the Italy air traffic strikes don't stop us and we actually make it to Genoa you should be aware we are not even 100% safe then:
http://www.britishembassy.gov.uk - imminent strike - 3 June Sea Port Personnel
I don't think this affects any of us, but who knows what may happen once we get there ? (sorry - IF we get there......).
Ryanair are also advising that Rome Ciampino airport is closed completely today, tomorrow and 2nd.
A case of keeping fingers X'd and hoping for the best!
On a previous cruise with Thompson, they did delay the ships departure by several hours because of plane delays. I know they couldnt hold off sailing for days but I doubt they would leave passengers behind if they could help it. They must have plans laid down for such eventualities. Its just a shame we can't speak to someone to find out what they are.
I've been meaning to ask where and how do you get an aviator
Hi Raych ( from memory) go into your personal profile, at the bottom of your personal details you will see the word Avatar click onto that and you will be able to choose one of the HT Avatars or if you put Avatar into the HT search facility you will be able to select from other sites.
Or follow this link to choose one yourself:
'Freedom is a word I rarely use without thinking em em, 'Freedom is a word I rarely use without thinking em em.'
In the imortal words of Dylan - or was it Donova ? Wooever, it is wonderful to be back on the Balcony 'Freedom is the word etc........'
The air is so sweet up here, feels like the Artic without the cold. 'Oh but its good to back home, home is where I want to be.................' I'm so excited....................... I feel like my cruise has arrived all ready
So many pages to catch up on It seems I've been in Stalag 1 Avenue for 3 years.
The yank inlaws arrived, from Fort Lauderdale, unexpectedly at 1am (flight delayed yipeeeeeee) to late to farm them out
Crisis not enough beds, So I with very great reluctance gave up mine, How I will miss Soya milk, just like I miss the last tooth ache I had.
Has the line dancing cruise sailed yet I'm sure I could put them all to shame in my present mood.
I must change my door locks tomorrow, before anyone asks, no balcony light - I pinched one off number 1 in the panic she didn't notice.
got some reading to catch up on
Byeeee for now

Got a fantastic cup of tea and now I can take on the world.
(Just read the 2006 link)
Why are people excepting 2006 Cruises, is that catered for in the T&Cs or is it a new clause ? I did not manage to see any of the Watchdog programmes, but I thought the D.E. had stated every applicant would get a cruise this year, I could be wrong
A lot to read and take in but I will perserver
(This must be a first posting for a long while that is all on topic, can I have extra points Luci)
No Ding dong - so I must

Go in to edit your profile (from the blue bit at the top of page) scroll down a bit and you will find avatars!
Now you know how to get an avatar. If, on the other hand, you find an 'aviator' (which is what you asked for), I'll gladly take him off your hands. Sorry for that neighbour, but I couldn't resist.
Naughty naughty!
and , I am not learning new steps:
My new travel itinerary has arrived:
Apparently I am now going out on 5th and returning 6th.
I was rather hoping for more than an overnight trip to Genoa and back.
I have also been told to be there on time for transfer as coach will leave regardless. Where? When? Nobody has told me!
(of course I will just tag along with the other two, and if I mix and match my old and new docs I can cobble together a more or less correct itinerary).
Efficient, it ain't : (and I was so enthusiastic about that yesterday )
I have been in touch with MSC. without any trouble at all. Didn't tell the person l spoke to any details about myself, or indeed did she ask, but my query was about leaving a deposit of cash on the ship, and while l was about it l enquired as to what happens if there is industrial action which might affect my cruise. I told her when l was travelling, by the way.
She wouldn't be specific, as there was nothing concrete to comment on, but l came off the phone feeling good. I shall say no more, because l could have been reading the verbal signals wrong.

I have just had another email from **** and apparantly my documents are what they would have been had I been flying to Linate in the first place on the previous day and not what I am actually doing so I have no itinerary for my outward trip. This is to coincide with another flight (on day of possible airstrike) being met by the transfer coach.
Anyone following this??
I am only just hanging in there and I am the one going.
As I was concerned with my original flight not being met if there was a strike (why would a coach turn up for a cancelled flight!) then we are back to square one here, except there are now 3 of us together in the same boat (or maybe not in the boat!).
I am sending **** another email to see if he can confirm that should that flight be cancelled or delayed, the coach will still turn up.
Katie & Isobel - I will continue this saga on our Roll Csll thread - I'm sure everyone has had enough!

Can anyone, who has been on Melody cruise already, advise whether it is just one coach that collects from Linate and then goes on to Malpensa or are there two separate transfers?
I lost you somewhere there Allisu so I will follow you to your roll call to see if I can suss it all out
Allisu, what a nightmare for you. After all the previous problems it still seems as if the right hand of a certain company does not know what their left hand is doing. Our thoughts are with you on this one and I'm sure we all have our fingers and toes crossed (not to mention our eyes). You have done so well already in sorting out another flight. No doubt it will work out in the end, but that is hardly the point.
