I have read through your post three times now and have come to the following conclusions:

1. You may be going the day after you come back

2. Your itinerary and associated sub-plots have been written by Miss Marple.

3. You may end up with four flights but no cruise, two cruises and no flights, a quick turn-around shopping trip in Italy or none of the above.

4. This will stand you in good stead for the "Veridian Room" type of quest in the future.

No I shall still be sharing with a lady named Doreen from Eccles in Manchester.The same lady as before. I hope the travel docs soon arrive or I shall be on pins,. not long now Magsy for your trip I hope you have a super time, I have been shopping again today. seems someone in my house has binned my evening shoes from the garage I have very small feet so have a major problem now.not wanting to spenf 40 odd pounds on a new pair. still never mind. Do they have karaoke on these ships? I love to sing but have a terrible singing voice . so if no one knows me I hope get away with it lol. I hope all goes well for others going. I keep weighing my case, I am not very good at kilos. so am converting all the time to pounds and ounces.

You could be lucky and find a sale somewhere and get some bargain shoes, lets hope so!
Your cruise documents will arrive on 8th June if everything goes according to schedule! Mine are due tomorrow so I have everything crossed! If they don't arrive you will hear the palpitations from here!

The 2006 question

Hi Phil glad to see you back on the balcony, to answer your query about why some of us are accepting cruises in 2006. I for one was very late finding this forum so I was unaware of what was going on and began to believe friends and family that there is no such thing as a free lunch and a £10 cruise was just an impossible dream. By the time I recovered from the belly ache I got from laughing at all your posts ( it took me ten days to read them all ) I had used up all my annual leave :cry:

so I returned the dreaded vouchers and accepted a cruise in 2006 :shock:

Battle will commence at the end of June when I have been told I will receive a call offering a cruise next year.

with all your help I am sure we will all get one. I am afraid there must be quite a few people though that have given up because they have not discovered your humour.

Hi Folks,
Does anyone know if there has been any outcome of **** discussions with DE at all?
Dizzy, just caught up with the pages. My name was not on your list of people waiting for cruises but I'm still here.
Does anyone have experience of what **** do when you reject their offering as being outwith the T & Cs? Do they remove you from the database? I would hope not as they haven't fulfilled the conditions in supplying a £10 cruise.

Like you I am still waiting but I do have an allocation for the Caribbean in Nov but others allocated the same cruise have been told it's not happening and most have been given alternatives. I e-mailed R*** this week and got the 21 day reply. I will wait till then before I start telephoning as there is a lot going on home here at the moment. I suppose 2006 is not that much longer to wait than Nov 2005 as long as it is early 06 not late.

You are right when you say 2006 is not much longer to wait than November this year but it would only be OK if it was the South or Central America the coast of Europe would not be much fun in January or February.

Hang in there I am sure we will get a cruise eventually and all the early cruisers will have forgotten all about theirs and be ready for another one, may I suggest ' The Sunday Sport' vouchers for this. :lol:

The Canaries would be great January, february or March I would certainly be up for that we could travel down hill in a basket in Madeira :wave
