Poor me i dont like either Marmite or Garlic. I wont get on too well with the Italians then will I? Imagine me walking round with a gas mask to keep out the smell and a mozzie net round me to stop the bites Ha. Ha

I found that a thick layer of axle grease mixed with rotten eggs is best & it's cheap. My wife said so am i, hence separate holidays this year!
Thanks for the warning Thomas!!
Hi all, thanks for your good wishes for Operatics going on 4th June.
Juliet - I think we had better steer well clear of Thomas in the circumstances - we don't want our posh frocks covered in axle grease.
Absolutely not, can you imagine the effect on our sequins!!
Marmite and garlic are part of my daily veggie diet so hope it keeps the mozzies away!
Cruising to Belfast tomorrow then onto Windsor Park to see Germany taken apart, except that we can't seem to get a team together, then up the coast to Portrush for some jungle juice.
Is the Arcadia ballroom still there or has it fallen in to the sea?
I've just been looking at Magwa's Armonia site, and noticed the tempting range of cocktails available.

Just curious to know if they taste as good as they sound
Cheers!
Cardif girl- are your friends still going on the Melody on the 5th of September, i just noticed their names on the "who going where when" thread, do they have access to HT or email? I would be nice to have a few more onboard, only me, stu the meddy+elaine and tj so far.
"On any given cruise you will run into individuals who are chronic complainers and will share any and all their grievances, to who ever will listen to them. Politely point them in the correct direction of a senior crewmember."
Incidentally it is a very useful site. I'll try and see if they have anything specific on the rest of our ships tomorrow, but I can hear my bed calling now. - Couldn't resist checking it out now - I found the Melody, just put the name of the ship into the above link (I know everyone but me would have sussed that out long ago) - the itinerary is different from ours but there is lots of useful interesting info.
Bon Voyage to all you people off now, have a good one. Only two weeks for us now but I still cant get into my posh frocks.
Has anyone posted that has been on the Lirica yet? I have seen Magsy's wonderfull review, enough to get me excited I can tell you.
Rosie
What a glorous day it is, well so far, I am in agreement with Thomas Whats wrong with a dolop of axle grease, it keeps things moving smoothly, althouth the rotten eggs - well I'd rather fry them (before they got rotten)
I must warn any likly ladies on the 10th Oct I do not like Marmite, and steer well clear of it
Byeee for now,
Just catching up on the pages - as went away on Wedneseday - snap decision.
Phil Morris
To all those making their way individually to the ship, ElaineM (Opera 4/6) was on board ship at 12.25. I don't know yet what time she arrived at the port but will keep you informed!
Magsy - how do you do it?? You are a positive mine of information!
Vested interest Juliet! I need the information for 12th June!
Hi, can you send me a PM with the telephone number you used for the company. I would like to give them a try and see what prevails.
Wull
