I am totally fed up being fobbed of with stories from the DE saying its in hand I shall keep bombarding them until i get the answer i want or i think it will be time for the protest march outside the DE offices

Hurrah for the rallying cry. Get stuck in to the DE - don't get fobbed off, they really have had it easy. What do they mean "it's up to the directors?" Bet the directors are all swanning off this Bank Hol on their yatchs. Keep up the pressure, guys and gals (oops a Jimmy Savillain moment there I'm afraid!) and eventually they will have to start giving answers. On the fun side - I quite fancy a peaceful protest outside their offices 
You will now see me building to a frenzy, as after over a year of planning for "the cruise" I realise I'm not even half prepared so watch this space for manic messages. Nite nite.

Hope you have a wonderful time on your cruise. Goodness knows you have waited long enough for it. I've had mine and it was great but, like you, I am only too aware of the many others who are so far getting nowhere fast. 
Pressure will certainly have to be put on the DE and kept up until this fiasco gets sorted out to the satisfaction of most (I admit I'm not particularly worried as to whether those at the DE are satisfied)
I always find a good punch in the face usually gets the message through
it is great to see more contributors to the forum and I wish we good get in touch with the people who have not found the forum. I am afraid some of them must have given up. already if they have heard nothing. We will overcome in the end
