Ok, I sent all the documentation to Ros who will deal with it on a no win no fee basis. She feels I have a good case although the compensation will be minimal.

Despit having sent numerous emails, a letter of complaint prior to my holiday and one after, (both via recorded delivery) and countless hours spent on hold in phone calls to TC's customer service, (including today), I still have not received any response or acknowledgement at all.
I've gone past caring about how much I might get; I just want to see some justice done. So, I intend to go all the way with this one!

Unfortunately, I'd already booked my 2nd holiday this year with them before all this happened. However, I hope they are more wary of me this time around because I sure have learned a lot from this current ongoing saga and have a lot more knowledge about evidence building for a strong case re: compensation.

good for you :) The compensation may not be much but that is not the most important thing for you- it will be the satisfaction of being proved right :tup

TC have now offered compensation. Not thousands but more than expected & will do for spending money for my hols in 2 weeks time.
Ros is a marvel!
