Looking at going to drayton manor over the summer holidays, as it will be a bit of a drive thought we would stay over night, could anyone recommend any nice hotels that are close by (that won't break the bank!). Look forward to your replys,

Carol ... Vickie is asking for personal recommendations. Are you recommending a particular hotel, or just explaining how to use Google again ?

Not much good for you this year, I'm afraid, but Drayon Manor are to open a hotel on site next year. You can camp in the grounds though if you fancy bringing a tent or caravan!
If you aren't too worried about luxury there's a travel or premier lodge in Rugeley, Staffs that's about 30 mins drive away. For luxury there's the Moathouse at Acton Trussell, Stafford which is about 45 mins away. Her's the website http://www.moathouse.co.uk/index.php?cid=MQ==
Tillington Hall Hotel, owned by Best Western is ok with leisure facilities and is again in Stafford, find it here http://www.bestwestern.co.uk/Hotels/Best-Western-Tillington-Hall-Hotel-83643/Hotel-Info/Default.aspx
Incidently Stafford is also 45 mins the other side to Alton Towers if you fancy making a real theme park weekend.
