If anyone has stayed here please add your review http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk/reviews/england/cornwall/polperro/killigarth-manor-holiday-park/
Many thanks.
Hi there, I stayed at the Rose cottage with a large family contingent about three years ago, have stayed at killigarth many time....haven't got time to write a full review, but the site is good and there's entertainment for the kids and an adults only bar for the parents... there is a shop, a small restaurant that does OK meals, and a take-away....
You have good site facilities if it rains, I believe, a pool etc . Some of the less well known places to try......
Visit Cornish Orchards on the hill up into Duloe. They make and sell Cider and real apple juice. The owner is brilliant and they let you try samples before you buy. No pressure if you don't want to buy.
If you don't mind windy country roads and its good weather, visit, Lansallos and have a cream tea in the National Trust tea rooms.
Lanhydrock is a lovely NT property, well worth a visit.
Then there are all the normal things...Looe, Polperro, Eden, etc. All very worthwhile days out.
Do remember that the nearest major supermarket from Killigarth is 10+ miles in Liskeard. So, buy your major shopping on your way, unless you want to buy a bit here and there locally. Looe has a small Somerfield but it is small and quite a way to walk if you don't manage to get a space in East Looe Town car park.
